Try trans mapping the bodyskin, & placing viscera, torn muscle tissue, etc just within. (lots of free medical 3DS & OBJ files avail at several free download sites - 3Dcafe has a ton! - I just checked to make sure they're still there) Also try a search here, I recall seeing a tutorial about breaking a mesh into individual body parts I found thru a link in this forum.

I've seen Trek characters on many sites, plus clothes, phasers, starship models - & a really nice starship Bridge interior prop in renderocity's marketplace (to buy) But the largest & most comprehensive selection I've seen is at www.3dposer.com - great stuff! - & free to boot! (dont forget to give credit to the creators for any you use:) ) for the romulan hairstyle - you might try trans mapping an existing dtyle. or paint a texture map+bmp map & apply to a bald head. (just a suggestion) - If you find or make any new stuff, perhaps you could post links to it here for others. Good luck with your search!

Bought the 3D worlds. Dead easy to use. Quite well-written manual. MUCH more limited than Bryce, but capable of some exiting stuff, AND it works entirely within Poser, so no real learning curve (45 min playing with tutorial, & I was up & running) Overall NICE product! On the Armor, I agree with lalverson, Buy the armor, go for the Daio textures.

Actually looks rather Awsome. If you were to hold a gun against my head & demand a critique, I might say the large murky vacant area across the top dissipates the impact slightly, Perhaps the lower edge of a fish swimming by in one corner, blurred by proximity, to accentuate the Depth & frame the forground. Dunno if it might be worth trying? Love the dim silouette's in the dim distance!

One More Time - a little more tweaking - Wish I had dreadlocks - eyes are brown, just thought it heightened the resemblance when I added blue hilights? Don't have rect-lensed ben franklin glasses like she sometimes wears, Used Morphing Sunglasses set low. I've been tweaking it a bit all evening, everytime Poser crashes doing a render of the Haunted World Scenes I've been working on tonight. That makes 5 crashes, 5 tries at refining this. (simple stuff that cooperates soothes the frustration). :) I enjoy the feedback Thanks, All!

Okay, try this one - Had to chkout 3 threads & a tutorial on curing "groucho brows" to puzzle out this adj - Why are there 2 listings for eyebrows in materials list (Eyebrows near the top & EyeBrows near the bottom)? Also - I don't have dreadlocks for Poser - Anyone know a source?

-I have a PC, & since I work with a LOT of graphic files of all kinds, I'm always tracking down viewing utilities to help keep them under control - I finally found a shareware utility called Invisible Viewer V1.01, does 80% of what I need to do so. Once loaded into memory, (I put it in my StartUp folder), in any file-management-view-box (or whatever they're called), just pause the cursor over the name of a graphic file that it recognizes, and a small pop-up displays the contents of the file. It works on most graphic-type files (not, oddly enough, on GIF files, but Poser doesn't use those, that I know of). Doesn't work on .BUM files, as that's not a common extention. DOES work on BMP, JPG, TIF, & others. Rwgistered for it online after trying it for a couple of hours - contact info here. Invisible Viewer 1.01 is shareware by BKK Software. bkksoft.netfirms.com Invisible Viewer single user license costs $12.5. I use it in Poser's texture selection popup all the time. Now if I could only remember what template format goes to what poser file, I'd be set! :) ps I'm not assoc with them - just recommending it because I use it with Poser constantly. ;)

Look at the top of this page. I found a link to send your Poser5 wishlist to Curious Labs - I've sent them 4-5 suggestions already, from assigning aliases to figures to splitting face shape & face expressions onto different control-sets. The main one was a request to incorporate real memory management into poser. Didn't want it to turn into a RANT,so I held it to a few sentences. If enough feedback, I'm hoping they make it a major priority.

Most of the buildings are avail in several formats, .3DMF (3DMetafile) files can be converted to .DXF or .OBJ easily in an inexpensive shareware utility called 3D Exploration - homepage http://www.righthemisphere.com/3dexploration - I use it a lot to convert files to save space on my HD - easy Explorer-type interface. - Tried the Demo & registered next day. I use it to view,rotate,zoom, convert, organize, All my 3D downloads - even shows Pose Geometry files (they are just in .OBJ format, after all). I haven't had any trouble loading the buildings or their conversion in a couple instances. A wonderful selection. Here-s a screencap of their model of the Shakespeare's globe theatre
