"Queri, .P2Z files are Poser Pro Pack compressed poses. These are regular Pose files they are compressed using a Zip utility integrated into PPP." Thank you, I thought I was going crazy-- they're in Quim's Victor package which I don't think mentions ProPack only. They are called Pz2's in the ReadMe. I'll see about starting a thread on them tomorrow. When I have a brain again. Your program had no problem with those files at all. Read them beautifully. The files that bombed were the ProPack version of Vickie's essentials MapPack from Daz-- the darn exe didn't let me choose which to install. I thought, like every other mappack, the MATs would be in a separate folder, but they weren't. I'm so darn new. I know PPP means Pro Pack but I forgot. And fishing around in that mass of MAT files, I got confused. However, your program picked up every other Pro Pack item but got terminal on these. Basically, I'm trying to fend off senility by plunging into 3D which has always scared me. Then my 60th birthday will not be so scary. [I'm only partly joking, it has been a really good mental workout]

I think the frilly neck thing is called a ruff, but that doesn't guarantee it to be filed that way. Or spelled that way. No, I haven't seen one in Free Stuff, but I've only looked there a couple of hundred times.:)

Yes, thank you,I got both the program and the plugins and installed them. What I thought were pngs-- they were not showing up in Poser-- are probably corrupted files from a download. They bluescreened my puter twice just browsing them in P3DO. They are from the Vickie Essentials mappack and I just wrote DAZ about them. What I dont' understand are the files that DO show up in P3DO but not in Poser 4. Some are named improperly [P2z instead of Pz2] and I'm trying to rename some of them, don't know if that will work or not-- I've tried it before but it's easier in P3DO. Unless I'm totally round the bend and there Are P2z files???
Thread: Is there a way to change png's to rsr's? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Easy solution. Start with a clean file. Load the shrugging dude. Return it to the library with the +. Rsr created. " I've done that with refitted hair and other things, but the picture created isn't very helpful. I'll try it again.

I went to Seno's site-- I've already downloaded this [but haven't installed it yet] and bookmarked the site. Geeze, I feel like an idiot now. I got confused because it says it's a browser, I kept thinking I was looking for another kind of utility. Yeah, at the end it says RSR to PNG convertor-- since I wanted to go the other way, maybe that's what confused me. I don't know what's worse, being accused of not doing my homework, or actually doing the homework and flunking it.

Um, I've practically lived in Free Stuff's Utilities for two days. [Sorry, it took me so long to answer, I went to bed] I didn't quite understand what P3DO did, even though it was mentioned alot there. It also seemed like I might not be able to understand enough to run it. Plug-In Manager for PhotoShop gives me problems so I'm a little nervous about utilities in general. [Though I know how to troubleshoot Windows pretty well, and am more techie than most of my friends, I'm still slightly phobic in that area] I've had Poser 4 for a couple of weeks and I know who the characters are and what the tags mean and all that-- though I got a little confused when .obj was both geometries and morphs and went in different folders-- have to rearrange again. I did try to do my homework-- but the title P3DO isn't quite as informative as RSR Converter, so that's what I looked at. I'll check out the other now, and thank you for telling me about it. I've also been reading the forum for well over a month. It's why Poser was so easy for me when I started. I owe a huge debt to all of you. I just didn't know the answer to this question so I asked. I read the FAQs too, but I probably did that before this problem came up. The reason I asked the question, is I wanted to know what I could to to fix the problem before I hassled the people I bought the items from.

I didn't make it too clear, I realize, I have Poser 4.03 with the patch, not the Pro Pack, don't need the Pro Pack.

The shadow is wonderfully effective. I don't think it matters that the key is a bit subdued. Not with the better angle. It seems more tragic if you gradually recognize he has the key. Great parched earth-- was that from the free site?? It looks great.

The expression is excruciatingly good. His left hand could use a little tension, I think. Cracked, parched earth would be nice. I think Eye Candy plugin does one.

Thread: How do you find your serial number? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you're registered, Curious Labs will send you your # if you completely space it-- which I did, along with the CDs. All I could find was the manual. It cost $25 for replacement CDs but eminently worth it.
