Heck, I was good enough to write stuff for Autodesk, but DAZ wasn't interested. Go figure....  Then I had an offer that 'should I happen to write anything on my own, it would certainly be considered for inclusion'...  As if I should be happy to do it for the bragging rights.

I wish the market was big enough to support more diversity.

Bring your friends into the hobby or use of the programs or whatever you want to call it.

Myself and a number of other vendors are in a predicament where we're not at loss for ideas, but we always have to go for what we think will sell the most, because the market is so small, you can't survive making things that don't sell like crazy. End result it - less alternative content.

Yes, there are also people who do this part time and don;t depend on it for the income, I did that with my first couple of products. What happens on that end of things is issue of time management. If you're working at something 2-3 hours a day, instead of 8-12, it takes more day to make things.... end result is, less alternative content.

As for the figures .... never say never ;)

We've talked about it, and it's a possibility. However, unlike the other two outfits, we haven't started a conversion.

Some of it may depend on the sales figures... if we don't get hosed on the first few, we'll make more :)  

Making these we're taking a leap of faith, hoping it works out so we can make more, as we are excited about Alyson2, and whatever new fgures may come out of SM :)

Actually, Nerd, Surreality and myself are working on these, to give you guys best possible morphs, rig and textures.  It's taking a bit of time, as it can be tricky to get the weight maps to bend beautifully on super detailed meshes (without the pieces mangling or flying off the outfit when the figure is posed)...  Nerd3D is about the best rigger you can find, and the finese parts are in his capable hands.

I'm too neurotic to kick somthing out fast, and then have it function marginally....  if we're going to be putting in in the store.

The really good news is, these are our super popular outfits, so a lot of people already have add on textures for them (and the original sets with extra textures) so you will be albe to pick up the conversion at the lower cost, and reuse textures you already have.... Textures will be interchangeable vetween V4 and Alyson outfits.

Maybe SM will, for once, have a fiogure that knocks the socks off of DAZ figures.

Also, for little pokes, Poser morph brush works amazingly well, and quickly.  I was thiking about making one, but I just noticed there is a tutorial in the marketplace on how to use it.

oh and quick FYI on clothing... few of us content creators will quickly convert some of our popular sets to Alyson 2, and have them out more inexpensively ASAP. Those are sets that people loved for V4, and lot of people havem so you'll be able to reuse textures and props from the original sets (plus get couple new textures).

These will be nice hand done conversions, with no automatic converter cumpling.

Then we'll follow up with some new sets noone else has seen before :)

Also, I gather there wille be other characters based on GNDA, as add-ons, now that Gave has done most of refined morphing work, additional morphs and skins can be added to it.

The more I explore Anastasia-the more impressed I am with your work! All I had to do was place Anastasia next to Aly2 in flat shaded wire frame view. It's obvious you moved the polygons to make the mesh more "bendable". It's almost like a new model in many ways.

 Then you have advanced movement controls so all the parts move together when the waist bends or is twisted. Fine work.

I imagine many folk will be leaping in(gracefully) to provide textures for this graceful figure.
