I too thought it was a photo - outstanding work. You really must package and sell it, it's sooo good!Â
Thread: May Challenge theme | Forum: Bryce
Can you submit more than one image? I've done two and just can't decide between them.
Thread: Anyone bought GeoControl? | Forum: Bryce
Thanks everyone for the replies. I think I'll be buying it.
Kathye, a quick question for you (or anyone that can answer it:)) When I've imported a terrain into Bryce (demo) I don't like the corners of the terrain - they're very square and seem to stick up. Is there an easy way to solve this, or is it just a case of increasing the scale and then lowering the terrain so this is hidden by the ground plane?.Â

Number 1 for me - looks more professional I think.
Thread: Your Say: D/Studio or Poser | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I use D|S all the time for my artwork. I tried a Poser free trial last year after I had started using D|S and I hated it (sorry Poser fans) - I just didn't like the interface and couldn't really get to grips with it. I find D|S so user friendly and very easy to learn in comparison. I think it's fantastic.

A first good place to look is in the freebie Poser section on this site under Characters (or do a search for 'V3') - Daz Studio uses Poser stuff. There are some nice ones there.
If you have some cash to spend look in the MarketPlace - there are some great photorealistic textures of V3/M3, or try the Daz site.

Thanks for letting us know. Let's hope there won't be as many bugs with this new version as the last one when that was released. It's still a great product though.
Thread: Newbie question - importing | Forum: Vue
I managed to export V3 from D|S with the textures, exporting for Bryce as suggested - this worked fine, but she looks awful - nothing like V3 does in D|S. the face looks different and the hair looks like a solid wig (lol). How can I fix this?

Thread: Newbie question - importing | Forum: Vue
Thanks. I'll just have to play with the objects already in Vue (which I've just discovered lol):)
Thread: Newbie question - importing | Forum: Vue
Thanks for your reply. I don't actually have Poser though. I use poser objects etc in Daz Studio, so all the files are in runtime folders - lebraries, geometries etc. I've just managed to import a scene obj. file by copying the file into the Vue architecture folder, but it doesn't have any textures on. So where would I put the texture files/maps etc, and where would I put pz3,pp2 files etc (ie all the ones that come with Poser objects and stuff). Like I said, steep learning curve for me :)

If you're having a lot of problems do check that you have go the very latest version which is 1.2.01. Version 1.2 had loads of bugs which seem to have been resolved now. You may like to have a look at the very first thread on this page in one of the Daz forums: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewforum.php?f=16 You could try posting a message in one of the forums - the feedback is usually very good and helpful:)
Thread: 3DDelight Warning Messages & other stuff that drives me nuts | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I had the same problem occasionally (more so when version 2 first came out and had loads of bugs). It happens with one particular scene I'm working on which has lots of small objects and reflective surfaces. The message reads as yours, then 'severity #2' (I think), and then one small item has no texturing. Haven't worked out why yet. You could try to re-load the texture direct from the texture file in the surfaces tab - don't know if that will work, haven't tried myself yet, just an idea. You could also perhaps report it to Daz via their contact page or when you're in D|S click on 'Help' and select 'Report a Bug'. That might get some results. If you want to remove a texture, go to the surfaces tab and then under 'Diffuse' click on the drop down menu that is located just under the Diffuse colour bar and select 'None'. By the same method you can add whatever texture you like to any object. Hope you get it resolved ok:)
