"Try importing your morph target OBJ instead of applying it, and see if it comes in all right."
Could you explain the difference to me please, if you don't mind? How do you import a morph target to an specific objekt? And more important, who do i miss this option for that long periot of time. Okay, the last question is clearly not a question directed to someone else other than me.
Thread: Crashing Poser 11.2 by loading Morph target... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
@Glitterati3D Thank you for your input. I build the prop myself, it's a simple Bed with a mattress. So, i will be to blame for this. The morph was only a body shaped imprint, to let it look like someone is laying on the bed. Just some pushed down polys, nothing fancy. The poly count is in both objects the same. I solved the problem with the explosion by loading the bed as obj file and exporting it back to the original file, so it's getting overwritten. I repeated this with the morph and mark the box for morph target only. After this, everything works fine...until i choose to tick the Box "Attempt vertex Order Correction". It kills the program instandly.

Thank you. It seems to be a corrupt file that is written by poser automatically when one changes the UI or settings for the library tab. I'm going to delete them and start with fresh files. It's also the case that I use the old poser 7-8 start environment because it renders faster in SF. But this start scene seems to cause some problems too. Both things are mentioned in the old SM Forum Post you brought to my attention.

Thread: Everything Aiko | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi everybody, i did not read the whole thread, so if there is already an answer to my following question, please give me a hint where to find it. I'm a bit late to the party, i guess. Despite the fact that i'm using Poser since Version 4.5, i never ever touched on the Aiko Figure. I recendly build up my Runtime Folder System, realizing that i had picked up more stuff for A3 as i had expected. So i started playing with A3 in the new Poser 11.2, but i was stopped by several issues i ran into and now i'm here to seek for a helping hand. I load the A3 Figure into the scene, apply all the A3 Morphs for Head and Body, like i was us to do with V3 or M3. Then i was trying to pose the Figure and thats does not working very well. I killed the IK on the Figure and move her leg, the knee stays putt and the mesh is broken. I changed the Skin Methode but that did not changed anything. If i apply a character morph, the Armes are distordet as well, right from the moment i applyed the morph. What i have done wrong, is this happend to some of you during a session with A3? Is there an update for the figure to correct this issues? Any help will be appreciated.
Thread: Poser 11.2 where do all the goodies go? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
quietrob, got a quick question, if you don't mind. I never ever used the Aiko 3 Figure, despite the fact that i have a ton of cloth and stuff for her. In what way are V3 and A3 compatible in regards of textures and morps? I have some nice tings for V3 i want to trying on A3 if possible.

Thanks again, seems I'm on the right way with that. I will have look on the python stuff, it was put into my huge runtime and seem to function pretty well. But I suspect Poser will find the Data dependent on the Python Script faster? The new search function is pretty good, I also like to use the favorites, because if one is honest, I'm sure I use max 10-20% of my whole Runtime Content. The Favorites come in handy because there are items I use almost everytime I start a Project. A side effect of setting up a new Runtime is, one comes across items one is not even aware of they exist. I have cut the size of my Runtime from around 80 GB down to about 50GB by sorting out things I never used. I also found it logical to build the Runtimes around the dependence, like V4 Figure goes with clothing for V4. To use the vendor as category seems complicated to me, because he or she maybe has build clothing for different Figures and props or scenes. I also think I would end up with hundreds of small Runtimes. But I know there is more then one way to reach a goal and everybody has his preferences, right?

Thank you hborre. To be clear on this issue, nothing except Python scripts includes the stuff that is downloadable on the new PoserSoftware Website? This would be not that much of work for me, because im don't use Python Scripts, except the EZSkin 3 from Snarlygribbly. The dummy Poser.exe is quite a good idea, but i am curiouse what would have been the benefit of installing the files the way it was original intended. I have never done that, because i have installed V3 and M3 content into the Poser Installation folder under Poser Pro 8 once and accidentally killed the Runtime during a deinstallation of the Program. Since that time, i prefer my runtimes separat from the main runtime and always hold a copie on an external drive, just in case.

SSfromM12 listen, calm down and pay attention to what you have been told. Do you tried out what Glitterati3d has recommended? If so, post the results. If the windows behave strangely, it could be an old driver for your Graphics card. You also can check in the preferences the UI Scale. Are you working on a Laptop, like me, you might change the UI from 1.00 to 1.25. This is a compromise between readability and window size. You see, there is much to check to resolve your problems. But, as we say in Germany, one can only help people who talk. The headline of yours was like a crash landing airplane, the rest was very angry and not very organized. That makes it difficult to help. Do you understand that?

Looks really good to me! I'm not that familiar with the Alien Movies, which one had you in mind during the creation of her? I thing it was one of the later ones, because she looks pretty mature. I have always liked her looks in the first movie, because she had the appearance to be young and innocent but strong. You know what I mean?
Thread: GIMP vs. Photoshop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's nice to read that Gimp has made his way to become an equal to Photoshop. Equal in the sense that one can do in Gimp whatever one can do in Photoshop. I personally miss one thing in Gimp that Photoshop has and that's the superior text tool. Gimp has made progress in this case, but it is far away from what Photoshop can do.
Thread: GIMP vs. Photoshop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have done most of my post work on renders with gimp and i create and edit new textures with it. The charm of the program is, it's very similar to Photoshop, most actions and filters are working like in PS, but it has many features and plugins PS hasn't. The downside of gimp is, it's sometimes slow and it crashes from time to time.

I have used Photoshop until Version CS5. Since the recent update of Gimp earlier this year, i use Gimp.
Thread: Poser 11.2 content question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, i just found out what caused the dublicates. The download ZZLegacyPoser11-installminimum_basic containes the basic materials and the primitve props as well. All the other folder are "clean" so to speak.
Thread: Poser 11.2 content question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks, i will install everything again and check each pack on it's own to avoid unnecessary duplicates. I also decided to remove my old Runtime completely and build up a new one. Most of the items were never used, to be honest, some of them I had forgotten they even existed. Time to let go...
