64bit OS to use more than your 4 GIG Ram, i would recommend a 16 GIG system at least. Also, a 4 core or more processor recommended. Depending on how long you can wait for scenes to render.
I personnally run a 32GIG Ram, i7 System on Win 7 64 Bit, works lovely!
Ah, and go for a SSD Drive for putting your runtime on.

its a design question...
you can probably try to reduce the minimum shading rate and increase the indirect lightning quality. but i dont think this would resolve the problem at all....

i assume you use a single polygon facing inside the room. that means you backlit the polygon from the other side. i would highly recommend you use another polygon facing outside to ensure proper shadow casting. Backfacing polygons dont cast proper shadows...

i can just speak for me.... i will stay with Poser and produce for Poser mainly. I will not invest double of the time or learn a second application unless user would pay double of the price for a product.
Sorry, i never really liked D/S and never got on with the interface. I am a poser guy, and will stay producing for Poser.

Are you using 32bit or 64bit Windows?
Your 6 GIG Ram would be wasted using a 32bit OS, since you only be able to address 3.5 GIG.... I can only recommend to upgrade to 64bit. It runs much more stable and faster... if you are using Poser Pro that would be a real performance boost anyway..

i bought her, and i am not upset. She is cute. I was looking for a good asian character but got a little bored since all V4 based characters look the same. I stumbled across the poses in the market place and got her to my runtime.
She is really unique and adds a lot of value to my runtime. I guess she will get a role in my story, she is definitly worth it.
I will try doing some freebie cloth' too since she would need a wardrobe :) some of the V4 cloth' work for me with a little joint adjusting.
I get a little sad when i read peoples comments about "this poly doenst look right", etc. Look at V4 base mesh, its awful! i guess i needed three or four add on products to get the armpits, ellbows, thighs corrected.
i think this pretty lady deserves a chance and since i am a Poser guy, i am glad i see something moving on for poser whilst everyone else looks at genesis... and genesis for me is just another western hemispheres V4 adoption... sorry :)
So, well done. i like her and she will get a chance from my perspective!

thats the strange thing. On another machine where i run Avira Antivir, its beeing caught also. And i downloaded those files more than one time... :(
well i simply hope its fine. I have never had any suspicious stuff coming from DAZ and could trust my A-Vir since years...
