smitthms, Actually its, as everyone knows, not, "as everyone one know". Glad I could help ! Btw, consider this your first warning. You are impeading the progress of comedy. We are laughing and you are bumming us out. Please don't let this happen again or we might have to ban you for a week. Citizens Arrest

Khrys, Why don't you make your final, final post and then uncheck that, "Email me when someone replies", box ? Then the thread will die for you. Quit asking mods to lock a thread that you only started. This thread is a community thread and people can say what they will. Asking mods to, "lock" this thread when other people want to comment is very rude and smacks of censorship. If YOU are done with this thread then take my advice above and leave us to OUR thread.

Thread: The Poser Forums and you.. a fun(hopefully)discussion on why we are here. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I find that the discussions relating to the uses and pleasures of Poser and other softwares here, as well as the "art" produced, annoying and disruptive ! I enjoy the rants and debates about personal positions on "issues" and personalities ! I actually come here to get a laugh. You people crack me up ! If I want to learn somthing, then I go to one of the other Poser forums on the www.

For stuff like that, you could just tell us and we could just do it ourselves. No conflicts that way.

I simply meant that on MY machine, with full tracking on, posing in P5 is 10 times slower than P4,(I'll even back up a bit and say its only 5 times slower). Even when rendering in P5 with all the P4 defaults in place it is still about 3 time slower. Your personal experience may vary. The only thing that keeps P5 on my machine is the added complexity. Otherwise it would just be a slower P4. I want to use the darn dynamic clothing and wind effects for my animations so bad I can taste it !

"Well DS Alpha works fine on my machine, neener neener neener ! Hahaha !!!! I don't have problems buy you do, I don't have problems but you do !<<>>" (I don't have DS Alpha but it sounded about right) I noticed a kind of trend. People that never had Poser4 don't seem to have any problems with Poser5.(if you don't know what you are missing then you don't miss it, kind of thing) Most of the people I see that ARE having problems say they are going back to Poser4. I don't have toooooooooo many problems with Poser5 myself, but it is about 10 times slower than Poser4. To me, it is like working in molassas. I think that a couple gigs of ram and a pentium5 5.2ghz should fix my problems !

Thread: Official Kim Goosseen's "The Girl" To Be Released Soon??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"4. Kim Goosseen's DOES NOTHING, and a dozen more Lightwave modelers do MORE "The Girl" look-a-likes, each with their own set of clothes and geometries. Because they can't compete with the BIG GUYS, they start GIVING IT AWAY!" Well you pretty much just virtually punched Dark Whisper in his face with that one and even slapped the "BIG GUYS" at the same time. I haven't seen anything this cynical and insulting in a very long time. I won't be replying to any angry reply you have to this comment of mine.

No, thats not true. Somebody didn't HAVE to do any such thing. Somebody could have just let him run with it, and realized that it is good to get things off your chest somtimes without having somebody go, Nahhhh nahhhh neener neener, mine works. imho
