Thread: SP3's rig? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'll load the heels and take a look with the joint editor and see if I did anything out of the ordinary.
Thread: SP3's rig? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did some heels for SP3 a long time ago.... I called them "porn shoes".,, they are close to 5" heels
I'm at work so I can't post any pics of them. I didn't have a really bad time getting them to work. One thing I found is that you need to make sure all of the IK statements are deleted from the cr2 and that IK is actually off.

Thread: Need A rigger for free"GORT" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - > Quote - Just my 2 cents worth ............... I'd rig him at normal Poser sizes then scale him up and tweak the joints for the scaled up figure.. save to library and you have your figure.
Ed
Why ?
hes a stand alone Genre specific figure
since he is NOT going to be a commercial item
Compatibility with existing poser content is NOT a concern
Easier to rig since you can use one of the existing rigs... Once you get him rigged you can scale him up... save to library... export obj then reuse the rig save to library again.. delete the old version
you have the larger figure

Thread: Tennis Shoes/Sneakers for SP3 Where? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I will upload the set this evening when I get home from work and send you a link. BTW this is a set for Steph3. It's too bad that she was never supported better. IMO she poses much better than V3 ever did... There just weren't the number of morphs ever made for here like there were for V3

Thread: Hats and Hairy Bits | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Render once with hair and hat, and once with hair invisible (just an area render will do)
Photoshop (clone) the hat over the protruding bits of hair.
For god's sake, magnets?? custom transparency maps??? Has everyone gone mad?
This is fine if you are just doing a still....if you happen to render animations like I do then magnets are the only way to go IMO. I find it usually takes a minumum of 2 and usually 3 or 4 magnets to hide the hair under a hat.

Thread: Deleting frames from the beginning of an animation...? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
To delete frames at the beginning you need to delete the keyframes from frame 1 to the frame before the keyframe you want to use as the new frame 1. You can not delete frame 1. You have to manually move the remaining frames (select all of the remaining frames and drag them until your new start frame is at frame 1).
What you will end up with is empty frames on the end of your animation.
Hope this helps you a little:)

Thread: What does the 'Weld Group' button on Group editor do? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes you can add more bones. The downside of regrouping is that the morphs on the figure will usually be broken and no longer work correctly.
You can also weld two separate groups by adding one group to another group, then using the weld command to weld them together. This will also break the morphs in the figure.

Quote - Man am I bummed out. I sent myself an email but didn't get any response. Now I just know that I will probably get into an argument with myself.
Actually talking to yourself and arguing with yourself isn't bad...
what's bad is when you argue with yourself and lose:)
