Hi, thanks for the reply. I've just downloaded your V4 office set which looks incredibly cool! I looked at the soft decorated group and I see what you've done by selecting the points either side of the central seam.
I tried to edit your blouse further but nothings happening, the same when I try to edit the prop that I've made. I select a vertex or point but nothing appears selected (red) I'm fairly new to the grouping tool so again I may well be doing something wrong lol.
Thread: Conforming to Dynamic and back again... With morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Phil, Hi. I'm having problems from the start =/ (I'm wondering if it's how I exported the original .obj file.) Step 2. When I click the "spawn props" button, nothing happens. If I click the catsuit and "select all" then hit "spawn props", the whole catsuit is replicated. (I'm wondering if I should have clicked one of the check boxes when originally exporting the figure as an .obj.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks very much for the advice and link PhilC. I've been making FBM's for quite a while now but always appear to have done it the hard way lol. I never knew most of these options on your link existed.
I'm stuck at work at the moment but can't wait to get home and give this a try. I'll post back later with how I get on.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure I follow though. Are you saying that just by adjusting a couple of lines in the cr2 and pointing them to the deformed dynamic .obj it will add the morph to the suit? Sorry if I've got a little lost here (or a lot LOL!)
Thanks again.

"So you can get the effect you want, with the right tweaking?" Unfortuantly not. The morph dial doesn't effect the bulge effect, only the scaling. I need the mesh to be normal when the dial is at zero. It's the correct size but it's still bulged =(

What are the lines for the "spawn morph target" script? Can those be added directly to the CL bulge script? Like I said, I don't know scripting at all so let me know if I'm way off =)

Ahhh, it appears the morph it makes isn't for the bulge effect, just the scaling effect. If I set the dial to zero the mesh reforms to the correct size/scale but is still bulged... Sorry for the hastle =(

Just tried it, I'm still getting a problem tho =( It bulges the mesh but also moves it upward by a huge degree. When all parts are deformed, It looks as tho the model scale has been made bigger by about 200% but with the added bulge effect... Lol, I know I'm a pain, any ideas why it would do this? Thanks again.

It's this bulge effect that's perfect for what I'm after, like I said in my original mail, all I want to do is be able to save that effect as a morph target. If your little script could be added, it'd be perfect! I really appreciate your time.

Is there a way to add your save morph target script into the standard python bulge script? That kind of effect is exactly what I'm looking for and if I could add your script for automatically making a morph target my problem would be solved. Could this be done?

Ockham, thanks for the help, is there a way to stop exploder from bulging to the right? It works perfectly allowing you to save the morph but as the mesh bulges, it moves to the right so that when you try and conform it to a parent, it no longer fits =( Is there a line in the script to alter this? I've had a look but I don't really know what I'm looking at =P Thanks for your help
Thread: PP vs P5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, I had both installed on my old system. PP tended to get forgotten about tho until I bought a new PC. Poser is my primary app. I haven't had much probs with PP until recently (virtual memory too low on big renders) I believe there is a CL patch for users with over 1gig memory. So to be honest, I really don't know what to do. Is P5 worth the hastle of having to install it and re-arrange my libraries? I admit, I'd like to do a few reflective style images which only P5 will allow to do properly... With SP4 does P5 run fast and smoothly or are there times (such as rendering) that will be MUCH slower to PP? Thanks again, Fang.
