After seeing your post yesterday I made this morph for the MilHorse. You can download it at my website [www.ladyfyre-graphics.com/poser_and_daz_horses.htm](http://www.ladyfyre-graphics.com/poser_and_daz_horses.htm)There are a lot of thibgs not right with the model but I've still managed to get some nice renders from it :)

Sorry about that, I didn't get chance to try it until late last night! It works a treat and would be great for the beginning of any work on a human head, but (you knew that was coming didn't you g) I'm working on the various horses and need to copy the settings for the hair from one body part to the others if that makes sense? Eg. the head, neck1, neck2, neck3 and chest. Sorry to be a pain, Angela

Thank you hugs I'll try it out as soon as my render has finished!

All the others would be fine thanks :) once the main settings are there it would be easy to just tweak the seperate ones. I'm jumping around here in excitement laughs!

I have P6 so that's great news! I'm python iliterate but have tried copying/pasting into excel like I do when working on morphs but it doesn't grab the info for some reason. -Angela-

Would there be any way in python of copying the hair settings from one group to another (or more than one)? ie: the settings under "growth control", "dynamics control" and "styling controls". I've been trying to setup a dynamic mane and tail for the horses but getting all the group settings is a PITA g. Some way of applying the hairs material settings to all the different groups would be very useful too if it is possible. -Angela-
Thread: Vue 5 for linux | Forum: Vue
I've just recently set up my pc to dual boot win2k/suse 9.1 personal, and although I'm a complete linux newb I'm loving it! The only thing stopping me from using it more is that none of my favorite apps will run on it :( So I or one am adding my vote for a Linux port of Vue :) Alla

I'm just in the middle of installing post nuke, but I think that it's a bit beyond me! I'll let you know if I can get it working... Angela
Thread: UK standard Delivery times and Mover question. | Forum: Vue
DaleB: Thanks for that, I'd be lost without my mover:) At least we can trust e-on to fix the rc bug as quickly as possible, they have a much better track record with patches than some companies that I could mention ;p
Veritas: Wow they look lovely, especially the clyde, thank you :)
I'm working on some mh textures at the moment and although they look great in poser, I noticed that the highlights stand out strangely in other apps with better lighting. A bit like the V3 textures, I use the Highlight and contour ones in poser and the standard (no highlights) for everything else.
I'm working on removing the highlights for the first one but it just looks awful in poser - hopefully I'll be able to try it out in Vue 5's new lighting soon!
That's a good tip about the greys thanks :)
Shrimp: Cheers for that, I was hoping mine would be here this morning but at least now I know that it should arrive around Wednesday...

Thanks both of you :) I can't wait for mine to get here.... I'll look forward to seeing your horse render Veritas, I'm interested how my textures will stand up to HADRI lighting! Angela
Thread: ATTN: Ockham/Python script writers! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
PhilC, I think that was one of Ockham's, it's very useful, I use it all the time in combination with context to quickly edit the names for the FBMs in the script before spawning the next one :) I think that his website is ockhamsbungalow.com or something like that. Alla
Thread: Millenium Horse import problems | Forum: Vue
That's strange! I'd contact both E-on and Daz, you might want to post a link to this in the Poser forum as it gets more eyeballs and is partly Poser related. Alla
Thread: Millenium Horse import problems | Forum: Vue
It should have been in your account screen, if it isn't I'd send them an email. I usually use the first version myself though, the sr1 has some nicer mane morphs but I've made my own versions of most of the new ones before sr1 was released so stick to what I know. Alla
Thread: Millenium Horse import problems | Forum: Vue
Strange! I'd post a message at Daz to see if any of their customers are having a problem too. Have you tried importing just the animated horse on it's own? BTW are you using the origional MH or the SR1? Also daft as it seems try replacing the MH with the foal as I think that the meshes are slightly different - if it works then there could be some bad faces on the MH mesh? Alla
