not sure if your looking for critque's or just hello's, so ill do both hello the first photo, whomever took it should have either used a flash or pulled the metering off of something darker, and prob would have helped if they got on one knee and cropped out the blaring sun at top, it makes u seem very very dark in the center of the rocks a circular polarizer prob would have helped both photos saturations as wellThread: An automotive theme | Forum: Photography

the first photo does nothing for me, looks like it has too much compression in it. the 3rd of the trumpets however is a differant story, its a great photo... but i would run a slight unsharp mask on it just to clean it up a bit... try 500%, 0.2, 0Thread: Olympus vs. Minolta?! | Forum: Photography

ive known people who used the e-10 and 7i, both the older of those 2 models u listed.... the owner of the e-10 sold hers, she luved the camera but found it too big and bulky to carry around w/ her all the time, which was the reason she bought a digi in the first place, so she wouldnt always have to carry a 35mm slr w/ her they guy i know w/ the 7i luvs it to death and swears by the manual focus ring on it... my 2 cents, buy a canon d30 (used) or the new eos 10d - its a tad more money but a LOT more cameraThread: Just an image... | Forum: Photography

everyone seems to have covered this pretty well... although i wouldnt shoot at f/16, u risk not focusing on the all of the window and depending on how far away you are, some of it may not be in focus, i would shoot f/16 or even f/22... if your shooting film, get 100iso film, slide is even better if u can, id pick up a roll of kodak e-100vs for this. tripod is a must, if u dont have a shutter release cable, set your camera up then set the timer, that way u wont risk bumping the camera at all during the exposure bracket shoot it.. set it to f/16, meter to the right shutter speed, then underexpose by 1 stop and over expose by stopThread: ?fetish? *not so work safe* | Forum: Photography
