Quote - It is most likely that all you'll need to do is make a very small adjustment to one of the joint spherical fall off zones. Difficult to explain, easy to show in a video tutorial. If you would like to go to the link below, scroll down the page and you'll see links to the videos.

Hope that helps.
Thank you so much sir. Those joint parameter tutorials turned out to be just what I needed.
Looks much better without a shark fin coming out of the sleeve.

Quote - Molina00 - found this site eariler - you might like like it.
Looks like there is some good stuff for references there. I already found a site, I think it was www.2000ad.nu that has pics of the movie props. Between these sites I should be able to figure something out on a costume. I like trying to make my own stuff (even though almost none of it ever gets done). It's the only way to get better at modeling.

Quote - *Proper eh? hah
*LOL - old joke:)
Most 2000AD fans felt the movie wasn't that true to the comics, in those he never removed his helmet, would never kiss Hershey etc etc. It's kinda like if they made a straight superman movie and he looked like homer simpson :)*They are probably both pretty similar anyway I would think
*There are quite a few differences - the best source is the offical site - link above.
I thought that was probably what you meant. Movies usually aren't too accurate when it comes to the original source material.
That's one thing I liked about the Silent Hill movie. Most movies based on video games are totally off the wall, but Silent Hill was relatively accurate with a few exceptions to make the movie work.

Quote - *I was going to add a Judge Dredd outfit...
*Try the link above - note this is the "proper" Dredd suit not the movie one :)Though ironically Stallone was chosen by the readers of 2000AD to be the best person to play Dredd back in the 80's. One of the annuals - 81 maybe? - has a photo of Stallone wearing (drawn on) J.D's Helmet.
Maybe they knew :)
Proper eh? hah
I never read the comics, I've only seen the movie so the Stallone version is the only one I know.
I may have to check that suit out regardless. They are probably both pretty similar anyway I would think. Thanks for the link.

Quote - I'm guessing you already asked/looked around Content Paradise's Apollo forum?
I'm afraid that would be an incorrect guess. I almost never even go to CP, although after looking at their forums because you mentioned I think I'll have to poke around there and see what I can find.
Quote - old stallone, or steroidal bloated new stallone? :)
Old Stallone for sure. I prefer my Stallone to look somewhat human. hah
I liked Rocky Balboa (the movie), but he's really too old to be continuing the roles he started 20-30 years ago.

I will have to search for where I stored the filefiles.Yo Adrian!
If you would be willing to share the morph (if you can find the files) I would be most greatful.
Is that morph sculpted or would I be able to tweak it some with the dials if I decide to?
I AM THE LAW!
Thread: How mad did you go during March Madness? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I bought the cowboys outfit and then discovered my better half had already bought it a couple years back. (I don't use his box much.)
Oh well.
For me, the "March Madness" was simply a time to get mad about seeing yet another dress and critters I'll never use. (Seriously - how often do you think you use the seal? Or the squirrel?)
Not impressed.
I don't expect to use the squirrel much (if at all), but at $2 bucks and change it was too good looking of a squirrel to pass up. You never know when something might come in handy either. Especially with it being somewhere around $25 bucks at full-price.
Quote - sorry...ACC Basketball to folks who don't talk Southern..;) They're more than a little nuts about it here....;) And the finals/semifinals/sweet 16/yadayad is called 'March Madness'...;) regional humor just doesn't travel well...;)
Hey, where are you from? I'm from Oklahoma so I caught your reference. Not a big basketball fan though, more into baseball.

Quote - the cowboy clothes on sale during March madness
Same here. I saw them, and at just around $2 bucks, I had to have them. hah
Commander Tucker looks pretty good as a cowboy.

Kind of hard to excel at anything when I lack the time to devote to it. I would love it if i had the time to really dig into Blender and learn the in's and out's of the program.

Does that mean you won't need me to Poser test for you anymore? :crying:
You got my last e-mail on your updated shark didn't you? I haven't gotten a reply yet so I wasn't sure.
Oh no.. you can still help me out. I did get your email. Thank you very much. I thought I sent you a reply. I've been hard at work at it all week. I took a break a bit this week end and worked on something else and played a bit. It looks like the shark tail was working a little better.
I've gotten some fair results so far with an editor for the 'Angles of Deformation' Those have been kicking my butt all week, but like I said, I'm finally getting some decent results. (Plus, my daughter is here this weekend, so I've been busy with her).
I'll send you and updated test subject in the next few days.
Thanks again..
No problem. The tail was working better than the first test model, but still wasn't bending quite right. With any luck it will be good to go with the next test. I am ready for it whenever you are ready to send it.

I would love to be even just half as good as that. Unfortunately, as an accounting student, I have little time to devote to learning the in's and out's of Blender. I would be happy just to get past the decent newb stage.
Thread: Just got blender... | Forum: Blender
Quote - I just got blender today. I thought I'd take a little break from Poser and try something else... I installed the program, open it up and took a look for a second and said "What the hell is all this!?"
does anyone know where I can find tutorials or some getting started links or something... I swear this is really confusing. I played around for a bit but didn't get anywhere.
I thought the same thing when I first downloaded Blender. I have gotten to where I can sort of model decent stuff, but it terms of all of Blender's capabilities and I am sure I have only tapped the surface. I have no clue how to do a lot of what's in it.
I used the Wikibooks Noob to Pro thing that Robyn posted when I got started. These days, when I have questions I just ask reddog, or one of the other helpful Blender experts around here.
Thread: March Madness (didn't know where else to put this) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Yes, it finished on the 12th.
I guess I got pretty lucky just finding out about it yesterday then. Had just enough time left to purchase a few things I otherwise wouldn't have bought. hah
Maybe I'm just wierd, but It seems like a March Madness sale should last, oh I don't know, through March.
