If it's of any help....had same problems. Was running Win98SE with 512 Ram,and 1ghz.prcessor.Bad man from moving company killed my little baby. Just purchased a new machine running WinXP with only 256 Ram...no problems(even Photoshop and Painter7,both memory hogs work great).Been told by sevral sources that Win9x(95 98 Me),just don't handel dishing out the memory very well.I'm running rings around my old machine with half the Ram, so I think they were right.

Got my Poser3 from ComputarArts magazine(UK),so should be the same. The pdf manual is on the disk in the folder named Poser extras. This is a great intro to what Poser is all about. Curious Labs was allowing people to upgrade to Poser4, for I think $129.00 here in the U.S.,as long as you have the seral# that came with the disk. Sorry...no upgrade to Poser5 with that offer.

Sorry..forgot to say in my above reply...your file will not have the ART ext. after it (it'll say jpg)But if it wont't open it's in Art. Just follow what I told you to do only if you get that error message, as sometimes it will be saved in a readable format. Very Goofy!

Your useing AOL as your server(Art is thier format). After you have downloaded, from your America Online window....click file..open..click on your image.(have to do one at a time)..a smaller window will appear..in that window click SAVE. Your done, your file has been put back to it's orginal format. Goofy I know as the ART format can only be read by AOL.
