Once you have defined the vertex you can use its Set method to change its position.
vertex.SetX(value) Sets the X coordinate of the vertex to the value given.
Suggest checking its WorldVertex before and after making a change to see if that updates. I'm pretty sure that it does.

geometry = poser.Scene().CurrentActor().Geometry()
geometry.Vertex(index) Returns the local space Poser vertex object with the designated index.
geometry.WorldVertex(index) Returns a world space vertex object by specifying its index. If no world space data is available, the function will return None.
Thread: walk designer: loading figure, how to load crz file? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
My Poser 11 gives the option for both CR2 and CRZ. Try tying in the file name and the crz extension and see if it accepts it. Alternatively go to the Poser Scripts menu and select Utilities > uncompressPoserFiles.
Hope that helps.

You can define the figure's center using the Joint Editor. Alternatively you can load a prop, patent the figure to it and rotate the prop. Adjust the apparent rotation by moving the figure relative to the prop. Set the prop invisible for the render.
Hope that helps.
Thread: can you add inverse kinematics to a figure? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, use the hierarchy editor. Look at the bottom for the "Create IK chain" button. Use the button to create a new chain then drag and drop actors from the list above it to define the chain. I forget if you start with the end of the chain or the root. Try both, one works the other doesn't :)

Not quite sure why you would want to make the origin and end point the same when I wrote "you will have to adjust the end point of the head by dragging the red end point forwards".

Point At will align the actor's origin (green) and end point (red) to the origin of the "point at" actor. If you want Andy to look at the camera you will have to adjust the end point of the head by dragging the red end point forwards. Hope that helps.
Thread: 2 different runtimes in Poser 11? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Yes that is quite correct. You will generally want to install new content to the shared folder but some content, for example my Python scripts, must be installed to the Poser application folder.

You need to add a series of 5 lines to each required joint parameter. The method, Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide. The figure doing the controlling. (The master figure). The actor in the master figure that will be doing the controlling. (The master actor). The parameter in the master actor that will be doing the controlling. (The master parameter). The proportion by which the master parameter affects the slave parameter.
Master/Slaves can be daisy chained. That is a master controls one slave then that slave controls another slave and so on.
You might live long enough to code it by hand. I hope you do :) Me? I wrote this:- http://www.philc.net/AllTiedUp.php
Thread: How do I re-calculate a figure's normals in Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You could delete the normal lines from the obj file and get Poser to recalculate them when you import it into Poser. Another method is to open the file in UVMapper and go to Tools > Normals >Smooth. Then resave the file.
Thread: objfile lines in ,pz3 and .cr2 files | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
It may be old but I would hesitate to say redundant. Look in "Business Man P2.cr2" for "objFile 1002 :Runtime:Geometries:maleHandsHi:lHandShape_2.obj" and subsequent lines.
Thread: How to create a "Runtime Folder"? | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Some content, particularly Python scripts must be installed to the Poser application folder for it to work correctly. With that said to install to a remote location you will need to perform the following steps:-
Create a new folder on your desired drive. Suggest not using the word "runtime" in the folder name. "My Extra Poser Stuff" good, "My 2nd Runtime" not so good. This because some Python scripts will search a file path for "runtime" and get confused if the path is "My 2nd Runtime/runtime".
Extract the downloaded content zip file to your new folder. This assumes that the zip has been created with the correct folder structure. Pretty much they all are.
In Poser go to the library panel and click the "+" Add Library icon.
Navigate to your new content folder, "My Extra Poser Stuff" in this example. Click the OK's
Your new library should now be accessible in the Library panel.
Hope that helps.
