I agree with Hborre, try importing the default Dawn from your library and see if it is still there. Jan
Thread: New computer poser pro 2014 won't work | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Might be Internet Explorer version 11, ensure that you have the latest Poser Pro 2014 SR5. Poser had a problem working with IE 11 and one of the service releases fixed that problem. Jan

Thread: Another question - re. clothing props | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You must spawn the resulting clothing and name it something like new clothing or simply a number like "1". This clothing will appear right over the original dress that you performed the fitting on in the fitting room. You will need to delete your original dress be it conforming or dynamic; this new clothing replaces the original one (you will retain all your morphs, textures etc). If you find that you have some poke thrus etc with your new garment, bring it back into the fitting room repeat, new name and back in the Pose room delete the new older garment (You should have only one garment when finished).
Then do what Hborre instructed you to do. Jan

One other thing that may help you: Before rendering, close down Poser and clean out your temp, cache, registry files and Internet Explorer (Poser uses IE), restart your computer. Then open Poser and your scene and see what happens...Jan

Thread: Trouble with Poser Pro 2010 crashing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
To clarify, Doug means the latest SR for Poser 2010 if you have IE11 installed.
IE11 is a known problem that causes Poser to crash. Jan
Thread: Post your Dawn new morphs renders | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
fYou did a wonderful job with the morphing. Like your skin texture and would like more information on how you did it..eg did you use the V4 to Dawn texture converter. Jan
Thread: Modify Dynamic clothes in ZBrush ???? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
II have Poser 9 (so I can't use GOZ) but here is what I do. first export the default character that you are using (check what you want exported) as a welded .obj
Then export the dress as an .obj
Import the figure .obj as a subtool, duplicate it, import the dress as an .obj.
Clean the character form of polygroups etc and the same for the dress
form fit the dress to the figure, check the dress mesh export the dress .obj with a mesh density of around 14000 polys.
See if that works for you// Jan
PS you duplicate the figure because when you import the dress .obj, the dress will replace it
Thread: 3d painting software | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sculptris, a freebie from Pixologic.com, has a paint section that you can paint your .obj or apply a texture to it then save the texture (UV map is automatically generated) then import that .obj into your favorite 3D modeling program like Poser etc...

There is plenty of help for people who want and ask for it. Just because there is thread on other problems folks have DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN'T START ANOTHER THREAD and simply ask for help. The statement that "no wonder no new folks stay" is absolutely false. We have plenty who do. Jan

Thread: Any advice on lighting in Poser 9? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
One other thing to consider, every light has specular switched on by default. You can turn off each specular by changing the specular color to black in the materials room. Or you can reduce it by selecting any shade of gray between black and white or you can experiment with any of the 16 million color variations etc. Jan
