ah, the deadhorse have been resurrected for bashing yet again, huh? these types of flamers always makes me chuckle. to me, at the end of it all, if the client is happy with my work no matter what medium i used, then my work is done. poser and vue are two of my mediums and it keeps some of us busy.

let them get all high and mighty, it usually means they have so much free time on their hands and less commissions coming in ;) otherwise they'd be oh so busy thinking up concepts to even waste their time flaming other people's choice of medium. as an art  teacher told me once -  "an empty can makes the loudest noise". it almost always rings true.

very interesting topic here and one i've heard a few dozen times. since Tiari and Ikendall already said what i thought about the subject, i'll just add by saying "it is not the tool one uses but how one use the tool". i have seen so many huffing and puffing and flexing epeens from those who uses high end 3d app but very few can construct a decent scene to showcase their "creation".

estherau - i just purchased 2 licenses (v3 and V4)...i am so excited, i can't wait to get it installed!!

this is actually sounding more and more interesting to me. i have been looking to purchase a converter for quite sometime now but have always been intimidated by the technical jargons that are thrown with it. i am not ready to purchase something that costs an arm and a leg and wouldn't have a clue where to start. you see, i'm one of those who plays things "by ear" so if anyone is to explain to me without showing me exactly how anything works, i will never get it, lol. i think i'm sold to this one though and might attempt a bold step and purchase the licenses i need.

took me a long time to get used to my tablet and even now i still haven't adapted to it fully. i'm afraid the only way to get better at it is practice =(
