Oh... not at all :-) Don't switch the texture, I can do it too! :-) It's not a contest (by the way, I tried to make a contest, you might be interested in the idea, just visit my gallery and open up "The Antisuicidal Project", I'll be glad YOU see it :-) ) The idea is to apply the texture to fit the object as it is but with its original shadow and, most of all, TO TEACH ME HOW TO DO IT! :-)

I have, but I'm rather shy to show it -- it's so crapy... right now I've made up something to example, but it was the oppocite case (mabe because one of the objects I used was completely flat, so it came out rather good) blush I'll try to figure out something in the next hour :-)

I mean how to make the texture actually combined with an object? I DO understand a mere technick part, what is not getting out good is the shading above... it just doesn't feet, even when I duplicate the shadow part of an object above the texture, it still looks crap :-)

Thank you, flip, for a good professional lesson... I must remember it for a case in the future :-) I think, however, reddragon is right about desighning it in a 3D app... many clients today want the logo to be "rotating about the axis" in their web-site or so... useful to a tv commercial compains, too. Thing that must be considered in the process of creating a new logo today :-) Well, I hope to hear the rest of the story, so, please, reddragon, make me know what's going up with it now :-)

Well, you must not listen to me, cause I never printed anything yet, but there are still most of Adjustments menue options even if you converted your image to CMYK already... just select your background area (probably by Select by Color option) and then play with adjustments... I'm sure you'll be pleased with new results in less then a minute :-)

Books are great! Listen to the people... but there is nothing like PRACTISE! And, of course, occasional on-line help... there are planty of helpers around here, including humble me :-) I can recommend open up an image you would like to play with and just start pushing the buttons all over :-) Remember, there is a History palette right above the Layers palette in a low right corner of your screen... you can click on an unwanted step in the list of steps you already made and delete them from this step on... very helpful thing. Also, there is a Fade function in Edit menu, I can recommend playing with its options anytime you applie something... you'll be amaised at how it lowers the stress of learning... and raises up your qualification, too :-) So, good luck! And push that damn button! :-)

Khm.. I saw it and it looks pretty unnatural to my eyes... remember that you don't have only one light source even in the simplest poserwork -- there are at least three by default. You must count it all in, otherwise it will look like a big artificial light source popping just above her head... :-) Sorry for mho

The only part I miss here is Brenda and Jack the Rotten throwing rose petals on the happy couple... And those eggs, oh, yes, they are superb, too! Can you imagine the thing we call "eggs" in Russian? Make your imagination wild... Congratulations with your wedding, Brian, Cindy... happy long life together!

Don't boil it, the tender bones could melt by... if it helps, I can suggest you putting it into the oven to bake... but I think Daddy wouldn't very happy about the idea... make him outside of home first :-) Then I suggest making some moves to preserve bones from crushing (something like putting them into a "limy solution" -- hell knows what it is, something that my translator gave me), but you better ask about it in your biology class :-) I can't wait to see this bone pictures! Good luck!

Okay. The exact process is: I take it to the hard disk, it makes the usual Olympus software procedure to moove the pictures to a hard disk, no matter in what format it was, and everything is just right when I use JPEG or RAW or how it calls on Olympus SQ and HQ. I can open TIFFs in any program, I use Painter 8, open, save (in TIFF) and then work in Photoshop... but, I'm affraid, I loose some quality in a way. What could become on Photoshop if it used to acsept my Olympus TIFFS before? I work mainly in TIFF now, no matter, in 2D or pfotography and my Photoshop never makes me a problem, exept of this one :-)
