Furrette and Furrette 2 ^_^ But with a computer like that you should be able to use most any figure without problems. I'm using a 400MHz Pentium 2 with 128 MB RAM, and I can load the MilDragon. Can't use it, but it loads ;P
Thread: I'm getting nuts!!! How to bend knees properly? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The only way to get the legs to behave realisticly is to have a morph that "flattens" the thigh and calf when they come together. A professional program would probably do this automatically, but Poser opperates on more of an "action figure" level rather than "flesh". :)

No, I haven't been IM'd yet and the prop isn't on Odd Ditty Foundry. :) ynsaen is working on several projects and is quite busy I'm sure :)

No problem at all ynsaen, I don't mind waiting. Please take your time and prioritize :) Thanks a million for helping me!!

Also, if your computer can handle opening the large texture maps that come with the model, you can simply adjust the color values to get all kinds of colors using the same scale pattern. I got some interesting purples and blues doing that in GIMP. ^^ The results can't be redistributed obviously, but I doubt there would be a problem using them in your own renders for fun ^^

aprilrosanina - Er, I said I got that already and it's an entry splash made by a small object. ynsaen - Awesome! That's perfect, thankyou!! Everybody - Thankyou for going through so much trouble just for lil ol' me :D Glad I can count on y'all ^_^

Well actually I just want something "general purpose". I do have an image in mind - the Daz hippocampus jumping out of the water - but I've always done a lot of water pics in various media, so anything you can come up with would be greatly appreciated. I saved that water crown prop I mentioned, and bookmarked the Geep wave tut, because I know I'll use them eventually ;)

Thanks but that just makes a smooth wave. I need a splash. A big splash, with droplets of water going everywhere. That kind of thing can be done with postwork but I don't know how.

Thread: Poser gallery postings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well technically Bryce, Poser, Vue, etc. are programs, not seperate media. Renders made with them are the same medium: 3D/raytraced. Mixed media would be like 2D cartoonism mixed with a 3D background. 3D model from one program rendered on 3D background from another program is still 3D. Medium refers to the materials used in the creation of a work. All raytracing software, be it Bryce, Vue, Poser, Blender, POV-Ray, or whatever, are the same media. Took art in high school, the course mostly consisted of the "rules" ^^ Oh, more on topic: Most of the renders in my gallery use Poser stuff, but only one is actually in the Poser gallery - one done entirely in P5 ^^ Everything else with Poser stuff is in the Bryce gallery, because that's what they were rendered in.

giggle I think it's Bob the Computer's fault, my mouse seems almost as old as me and has seen a great deal of art-type use, and it has a tendency to click when I don't want it to, and move when I'm trying to click without moving. I've been using the same mouse for the past several years (I think it's from Bob the First. More than five years ago o_O ) and it was used when I got it anyway. I haven't bothered to replace it because I want a tablet, and I'll be getting a new computer when I save up enough money, so there's no point in wasting money on a new mouse. Especially when there's two or three extra mice (and moniters, dead towers, SIMM chips, CD-ROM drives, etc...) lying around the house already. ;) Disclaimer: I have nothing against people named Bob, I don't even remember how I decided to call my computers Bob. It probably came from me and a nutty friend of mine while we were high on sugar.
