As I am not a student I would have to pay much, much, much money - for a hobby. For hobbyists (yes, yes, for advanced artists too) DazStudio and Poser and Bryce and Vue are working nicely.

you don't have to be a student to download the free version of max or maya or any autodesk program, you can download the free versions on their website.

how far is the developing project running about dynamic-hair?

as animator i'm only interested in dynamic hair.

why poser looks so old against the new iclone program and are in the same price range?

"pro tools" for the pro version of poser pro and price range around $700

leave the word "pro" away from this software if it's for hobby users only.

more & more pro users would like to work with poser and need more features.

it's not only for hobby users anymore.

pro's would use all the available content in projects to animate biped figures, quick pre-vizualization of dummy's.

i hate to read everywhere, that people don't like to see evolution to this software.

some people just don't like to spent money, that's fine nothing wrong please use the basic version for the hobby market and this kind of people.

and have the pro users their toys, "poser pro" should have a price more like zbrush and better pose, animation and rendering tools.

my 5th cent, to poser: HIRE MORE AND BETTER DEVELOPERS.

Make sure that you select to be notified of replys if you post there, as the Forum sort is still not working properly and you might otherwise never find the thread again without a lot of work.

charged on my paypal and i can't find on my account my platinumclub membership is active. or what i still get on the newsite with my PC membership, it looks like there is nothing special anymore to be a PC member. thinking of close my PC membership.

Ah so the rumors are true, i am pretty sure of one thing.

poser will surely be defeated by studio 5 technology and it's new features.

i have heard that animation would be as good as iClone or better.

I am so curious if this is really would happen?

that means a final exit and the use of poser to me.

been there done that to long, poser never evolved to the program what I hoped for years.

but the truth is simply.

today i would like to do so much more, like start cool animation vids and projects.

i am done with still renders, animation is so much more fun.

and low budget pc's, workstations $$$ price ranges achieve the budget for hobby people.

animation difficult of course, but with the right tools a love to play and learn with.

I wished that posing and animation was better done in poser, to bad it's still not done in version 2012.

i have seen sold poser from company to company to company, there was never a proper evolution of the software :(

to bad, they had the chance to be the best.

a pity that poser developers not took their better chances.

i think we can expect some DS5 version near the end of the year or beginning of 2013.

daz removed my posts so many times

for 80% they never told me why the post was removed!

that was a big problem for me, see my post deleted without a good explaning what was wrong with it.

how can i learn what i did wrong, and language communication problems.

As you can see it is most antiV not just the one I use, so DAZ is right and all the antiv are wrong? Do you honestly beleve that? And isn't antiVs to keep viruses off your machine so you pause them so you can install something with out question?

 

If it's not open for discussion, there have to be something really wrong with those installers! may be it's daz, that install some spoof software to see you only use official products.

People have been crying for years to get daz to support closer compatibility, but instead they have chosen alernate formats and solutions.

I wonder if daz came up with more new technology soon, something more advanced as available today in poser world.
