Found the problem is Norton Antivirus. One of its add-ons (Norton Confidential) is causing all the trouble. Sorry to have bothered you. Just need to get that working correctly.
Thanks.

Thank you for the quick response.
I'll ring my credit card company and ask them to keep an eye on the card just in case.
I'll let them know this was the last valid order on that card.

I have an order on my account with no items in it for $100.89.
When I clicked on my shopping basket it still contained the items I'd picked and when I processed it a second time to see what would happen the site was https & padlocked and the order progressed alright. I now have a second order on my account for $100.89 but with items.
And I did it with two IE windows open as before, so I can't recreate the error.
Please could you delete the incorrect order from my account.
Thanks.

I don't understand it. I'm using IE7. There were two IE windows open, both for Renderocity. One had my shopping basket on.
I had been moveing items from my wish list to my basket and I clicked on V4 furry boots to read its description again. From there I went to another page that had different textures for the boots. This page showed there was a V3 version of the boots and I went to that page too and added them to my basket. At some point in this wandering a second window was opened and that window had my basket in it. It was a rendersocity page. I then clicked the checkout button and went through the various stages (billing address, payment method check order) and got to the fours step when an error occurred at the botton of the page (looked like it coudn't find some data). That's when I noticed no padlock and that the page was http and not https.
Could it have anything to do with having two windows open at once?
Secondly, have you received my order? I haven't got a confirmation e-mail and they're usually very quick to turn up.
