Now that the Gallery is categorized by subject, why can't there be a "slightly pervy" gallery? I'd suggest a "really pervy" gallery, but that's what R'otica is for.
Thread: Really not understanding something about the V3 to V2 model ! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I seem to real a thread about a hybrid V3 with a V2 head... did either of you look into that?
Thread: How do you use morphs?(Morphette, ect...) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Of course, the P4 Nude Woman (a/k/a P4NW, Posette) has a number of preloaded morphs that are operated by the dials that appear on the right side of your screen when you select a body part. Check your P4 Help file (which is the P4 manual) for the details.
As for additional characters and morphs, you might start in the Free Stuff section here (link is at the top of the page). Select either Characters or Morph Targets, then select the last page and work your way backwards... you're more likely tofind P4NW morphs doing this. Traveler used to have a great set of free morphs for the P4NW at MorphWorld, but now I think you would have to buy them on CD there (morphworld30.com, if I recall). Of course, if you decide to stick with the P4NW for a while, instead of the Millenium Figures from DAZ, it would probably be worth the money.

That is an incredible Linda Evangelista! I wish we could see her at DAZ, but I'm guessing there might be "issues" with that:(

I don't think it's a general problem with V3, if a younger V3 is what you're looking for...Thread: V3 morph injection question (oh yeah) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

With V2, you could use Mason's Morph Manager (a freebie) to remove the non-essential morphs, so that you could save expressions and faces with just the essential info and could apply one without affecting the other. I haven't tried it with V3, though. If Morph Manager doesn't work with V3, I would imagine that the injection pose builder at DAZ would do the same thing. But I imagine more informed opinion will follow...;-)
Thread: z-BRUSH TO POSER? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yep, Z & RnR are using it for MTs. And I don't mean to sound too negative about original meshes; I think you can do poygon reduction in ZB. However, with figure creation, there is also an issue of design... creating a head mesh that can be morphed into natural-looking expressions requires a fair amount of planning. If you want to explore those issues further, I would recommend the boards at Z-Brush central (fougot the URL, but there's a link on the pixologic home page). You could also try the ZB forum here, but there's less traffic there than at ZBC.

...and two more things. One, Zrincx is also one cool dude. Two, A_ just did a portrait titled "What's In A Name?" in a pretty realistic style.

Well, I'm humbled that lelionx mentioned me...I don't see my stuff as ranking with the others mentioned! Anyway, in addition to some of the others mentioned above, check out Catharina Przezak's gallery for near photorealistic textures. Zrincx also does fine realistic texture work...any realism in my stuff is due to him. And though I believe SteffyZZ no longer maintains a gallery here, you might check her work at zs3d.com.

Just to clarify, people are talking about 2 different issues. Z-Brush seems to be quite good for making MTs for Poser (though I think the latest version had to be updated to address a small bug in that regard). Check out Zrincx and RnRWoman in the Galleries for examples. The high poly-count issue comes in when you model something from scratch in Z-Brush and want to import it into Poser. In that case, there may be issues based on the capacity of a user's computer, just as V3 puts a bigger strain on the computer than V2, which was bigger than the original Victoria, who is bigger than Posette, etc.

Moreover, DAZ rolling it out as modules will largely prevent the problem of doing too much at once.
Thread: First Attempt at Morphing with Magnets - V3 teen face | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow! That's really nice. It would be great if you put it in FreeStuff. While I would not call myself an experienced morpher, I'll take an early crack at your questions, as I'm sure you'll get better, more detailed answers from the experts. The combo of DAZ morphs wih the custom morph is a bit tricky, but I would think it possible to either create a MOR file that would accomplish this. Failing that, you could distribute the custom morph and a .fc2 file to set the DAZ morphs, thus requiring the user's ownership of the necessary morphs. Exporting the custom morph should be fairly easy. After making sure you've saved the DAZ morph settings safely elsewhere, you can zero the dial settings on the head, leaving only the effects of the magnet(s). You could then, for safety, spawn a morph target, and save the figure as a new character, which would allow you to get rid of the magnet(s). When you have the figure with the head morphed using your newly spawned morph target (and the dial set to 1), you can go to the file menu to export as an .obj file. Select exporting a single frame. The hierarchy selection box should appear, with all boxes checked. Deselecting UNIVERSE should uncheck everything. Then select the head and hit "OK." Then a dialog box asks for the name of the file. Name your morph target, then click "save." If pictures would help explain what I've written, the general procedure can be found at the end of ch. 2 in the poser 4 manual, which is also the help file accessable through P4. As for the neck/shoulder problem, it may be that the zones for both magnets overlap in that area, causing an additive effect. Make your zones visible (select a zone, then change its properties to visible) to check. If so, you may be able to scale each on the x, y, or z axis to prevent overlap. Hope that's at least somewhat helpful;-)
