Anyone know if the new DS3 handles python scripting? (I use a lot of Python utilities in poser)
Can the DS3 renderer handle ambient occlusion?

Thanks!
Chipp thanks for your advice this does seem to be working well as a foundation - I'll tweak and play with the settings to see where it goes.
Peggy and Bruno - I'll also try your approaches and see what I come up with.
Thread: Problem making M4 Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had given up on trying to create morphs in Zbrush 3.1 because of similiar problems. Even using the poser scaler plug-in I got message about vertices not being right (fuzzy on the exact mesaage) Maybe will try pjz's technique.

Here's settings I used to give my M3 figure heroic sized glutes. You'll probably have to adjust these setting a bit to work for Hiro or David. There's still a small bit of cleft you can see at the top of the right buttock but may not matter much if you are clothing the figure.

Have you tried using magnets? I've gotten some nice results creating heroic sized glutes for various male figures using magnets. You can set the magnet adjustments to also affect the hip and then you don't get that weird cleft you were referring to. Then there's a python script you can use to create a full body morph that includes the magnet adjustments. (I haven't really tried this myself yet but its supposed to work) You can use that FBM when doing your wardrobe wizard conversions.Â
It takes some experimentation to get the hang of placing and sizing the magnet components but you can really get some nice results if you have the time to noodle around with them.

Ooooo! I never saw that Night Gallery episode. I do remember a Twilight Zone where the guy hides in a big Department Store until it's closed for the night and then all the mannequins freak him out. Like their eyes are following him and they are talking to him.

Gagnonrich and all,
I found the book, it's titled "Just Above the Mantelpiece: Mass Market Materpieces" and author is Wayne Hemingway.
The artist who did those first big eyed kids you showed was Lee Eden and he did a series of mod big eyed kids in the '60's.
The book is available at amazon for $13.85

Yes they presaged the big-eyed look so common in the manga world today.
I have a complete book about these and other kitschy paintings from the '50's and '60's. I'll find the book this evening and post the title and author here if you are interested.

My apologies for posting that image. I sincerely meant no harm to anyone. I blame myself. I hate myself. Forgive me for instigating this hateful thing that I have done.

Gothwillowfan, I found a solution, there was a post over at Content Paradise about this. I did the same thing they did and it worked but I've never had to do it this way before and I haven't seen it described clearly in the documentation.
As an example , if you wanted a runtime to hold all your toon related content, you set it up this way: Create a folder named Toons. Within that folder create a folder named Runtime. Within that folder create a folder named Libraries. Then populate the Libraries folder with your content folders, character, pose, hair, etc. which contain your various toon content. Click the + (add runtime and choose the folder you named Toons to mount the runtime.
Funny thing is I didn't have to do this to add my old Poser 6 and Poser 7 runtimes.
