Thanks! Yes, I heard about that but haven't tried it yet.Excellent. As a note, if you plan to use displacement in Poser 11 & 12, it has been fixed in Poser 13. The feature had been broken for quite some time and displayed incorrect displacement.

Happy 2025 everyone!
Starting with the office combo, I am now making two versions of every fabric material for my published clothes, one using the P-BSDF node available from Poser 12 onward, and one for P11 users with the physical surface node in its place. So then for the new outfit - henceforth known as the explorer outfit because of that alphabet thingy I have going - I made a pair of comparison renders, and just for fun, also used two corresponding versions for the skin and backdrop materials (not the hair, eyes and teeth, though). Then I reduced the strength of the main light a bit in the P-BSDF version because I was starting to get washed out highlights on the skin.

Attack of the invisible woman. :-D (a.k.a. checking the fabric densities with a bit of backlighting)

I thought I'd add a pair of ankle socks, the open shirt from earlier and a new choker to her heatwave outfit. The choker is a bit wider than the one from the bikini set and it has a loop so that users can dangle any appropriate props they may have lying about from it.

Now that her work outfit is sorted, let's take care of afterwork activities...

Ah, I should have known that. Thanks!Poser 11 doesn't have the PrincipledBsdf node so they won't work.

Does anyone here who's tried out my fabric materials also have a copy of Poser 11 lying around? If so, could you do me a solid and quickly check if the materials work with that? I only have P12 and P13 and I'd like to know how backwards compatible they are (P12 seems to work).
No big rush, just curious.

Here are all the materials I came up with for the skirt-blouse combo. I'm still not completely happy with the way the blouse tugs in, so I might need to tweak that a bit before it's ready.

Circling back to this little ensemble, for which I can now make much nicer materials...

Oops, I just realized I made an error in the readme file. For a smaller textile one would usually want to use a smaller thread count a.k.a. scale because the same real world surface area typically will take up a larger portion of the UV plane. D'oh!

Maybe I'll create a separate thread in an appropriate forum with more details on the materials and how to do all kinds of extra trickery with the compound nodes I made for them.
