Thread: SR 1 for Poser 6 Macintosh NOW available! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
All you need to do is make one simple pared down Runtime folder and load that instead of your existing one. For example, 1) make a Runtime folder consisting of NOTHING more than a downloaded freebie item. They already (in most cases) have a Runtime setup. 2) Start Poser. Load the new Runtime and disconnect your existing Runtime. 3) Restart Poser. IF it works successfully, your existing RT is the problem (probably). If NOT, reconnect your existing RT as per usual.

Try this tut at SimplyLightwave. Also, the Dan Ablan Lightwave3D books are pretty good.Message edited on: 06/01/2005 10:12

Keep in mind, the playing card designs will run into trademark infringement issues. The rider back design is definitely trademarked by the USPC Co. You can probably get away with making original card designs, and then offering the ones shown above as a freebie add-on. Reluctantly, I believe you can't use the unlicensed trademarks to market your product (which looks good BTW), but you might be able to mention that the add-on IS available. Ask an admin (or Cooler?).
Personally, i'd love to have a copy of the product. Just wouldn't want you to get in any trouble.

Thread: Poser (Walk Designer) Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Do you know why I can't select "Use Inverse Kinematics" from the menu?" You implied that the existing dino skeleton is lacking IK. My point was that by adding preconfigured bones to the dino, you might also get the Inverse Kinematics in the process. However, its only a supposition.

You can load the dino into the SETUP room, and add a preexisting "skeleton" (i.e., one from another similarly postured creature). Following the appropriate steps, this should give you the IK chains you want. You may have to tweak the bones and adjust some of the fall off zones.

"Keeehro" may not produce the results you want. I'd think that example would produce something akin to "keyrow". You can try different phonetic combinations. Perhaps "Keyarrow". Or try seperating the syllables for better approximation. Try hyphenationed syllables.
Thread: Poser Runtime Folder Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, Jcleaver is exactly correct. As for INJect/REMove poses, they are the morph poses that manage the higher flexibility of all the DAZ Unimesh figures (V3, M3, SP3, etc). Without ANY of them loaded, you have significantly less control over the figure's physical attributes. Unlike Dork, Posette, and all figures prior, the Unimesh figures allow you to load the morphs as necessary. IF all the morphs were loaded by default, V3 would be in excess of 100 MBs. I have not tested whether P6 Mac needs the aliases, and so I have maintained the alias INJ/REM pose system, because I have no need to fix it. The actual files are still where they need to be, and the aliases take up hardly any HD space. Funny how we all nest our extra Runtimes in a folder called Poser Runtimes :)
Thread: Seeking: Troll Doll for poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Troll doll?....I thought that was Hiro ;) Ask around nicely in the Lightwave forum, and I bet someone might make a model for you (in a matter of hours). You'd probably have to rig it yourself in Poser, but thats not so difficult.
Thread: Installation problems with Mill Horse .sit Files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"As far as I remember, both installers need to be in the same directory. Just drag part 2 in the part 1 folder, then doubleclick installer 1." nwm's advice regarding having both files in the same folder should work. You may have downloaded the FileMaker demo at some point in the past, and it sort of "stuck" in the Vise installer system. This exact thing happened to me, too.

"...and to maintain the internal path integrity." By this I mean, I do not rename the enclosed Runtime folder.
