Thanks for your reply. I thought that would work also, but how do you get away from the "just white needles" look? The object that you are applying the snow texture to is still in the shape of needles, not a mound of snow.

I see from inyerface's downloaded picture that Corel did not fix the goofy tree trunk curve or bulge in Ver 5.01. That bug really looks like hell, especially up close.

Brycetech: Thanks for your suggestions I will give them a try. I too hope Corel will improve the tree editor, but it is still a great improvement over NO tree editor. Paul Oksnee

I hope they fix the goofy tree trunk curve between the roots and the first branches. It is very noticable to me in up close views of truncks. Has anyone else noticed? Thanks; Paul Oksnee
Thread: Bryce 5 Bug? | Forum: Bryce
That is a strange problem, but did you notice the goofy curves in the up close view of Bryce 5 tree trunks? I have been all over the message boards trying to find a fix. Some have said they did not notice it (You can't miss it!) To me it makes an up close view useless. Any ideas? Thanks; Paul Oksnee
