Agiel, I still use vue but lately since the advent of Cornucopia I find even more problems.
What I don't understand is your view but I am willing to take the time to try to understand.
Lynn wrote she was happy with vue and a tree and I thought how ironic when the pine trees and the new bonny clump either have been removed from Cornucopia or don't look good.
So I wrote my view here because I thought my view and other views and Lynn's view should be compared especially since they were about vue plants.
Now in forums it is custom for members to share their views to see if those views hold water. If others join and agree maybe the particular view will develop into some other type of action like a change in the software or in a company's policy.
So wouldn't it be possible that what you deem as just negative comments could turn out to a positive end? Wouldn't that be reason enough for people to post their complaints?
Another way to look at it is why should this forum only be used for people to post why they are happy with vue but not happy with vue when both opinions in your outlook the forum can do nothing about.
I am just trying to understand your logic.
Do you find any of these points valid or am I off base?
Thread: When I am HAPPY, I am VERY happy! Vue "old" Extra Veg plants work!! | Forum: Vue
I just have to add this:
Have you read the latest in the e-on vue infinite forum about vue blowing chunks?
Or have you been at cornucopia and looked at the bonny clump which is being advertised as new when it is older than dirt?
And to top it all off some of the bonny clump leaves are upside down in the advertisement picture for the bonny clump. They still haven't fixed this!
Who would buy both versions of bonny clumps color and white bonny clumps and pay $20 when any person in their right mind would have made this one set for $10. Way to go e-on. You really have your customer in mind.
Where is the free content at cornucopia? It has been half of a year and there still is no free content. This company has no quality control! JMHO

you must be kidding. I have a 50 voucher and can't find one thing to spend it on. I also think the development of Cornucopia is slow and their products aren't any good. What happed to the pine trees? I can make a long list of the things thay are wrong with e-on and their products.
Anyhow it is amusing that two people can have such opposite views of a company.
Thread: Upgrading to P6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Don't buy into the hype just use what you have to make great art! I wouldn't buy P6 because the new figures suck so bad. Regardless of features the new figures with messed up hands & feet and lack of support for them in the face room shows how lame this upgrade is. Give e-frontier the message that this is not acceptable software ready for release and don't buy.

All plants do that. My guees is that the tree was part of a ecosystem and that ecosystems with trees can cause that problem.

Since this is a problem: On import these particulars should be able to be manipulated like the bump map. Bump map intensity can be set on import so why not highlight paremeters.

Thread: Say goodbye P6 Hello Daz Studio!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I thought Daz Studio was a response to Poser not working well. Why should Daz wait for Poser to work out the bugs so we can have more than four characters in a scene and render quickly. Poser failed Daz so DS was made. DS was also made for the other reason already stated in this post.
If poser did its job well DS might not have been made. There has been a lot of complaints about poser so it made the mutiny that much more possible. Good for Daz. If curiouslabs won't listen to its customers maybe it will listen to the avalanche about to crush them called DS. Go DAZ!

Vance, I understand your point but we mere mortals do not know everything so one complaint can have any result. People who were previously unknown to each other may ban together and form a powerful force from a complaint or the it may go nowhere. But who is to say how the future will work? So express yourself in anyway you see fit until Agiel says otherwise. :)

Vance Max, history shows that what you call complaining but what I call another person's feelings does make a difference. It probably is more of the delivery and the degree in which the feeling is expressed that makes the difference in the success of the feeling inspiring others to act or how the feeling will be labeled. So please everyone speak out and let others know how you feel. JMHO
Thread: Newbie 101 - File Syncronization | Forum: Vue
textures is where the syncronization works the worst, if the materials are collapsed then they open up on the re-import and you lose all the vue material editing and the benefit of the material collapse. I've written to e-on support and they have no plans to change this. It is another big let down.

It might be more likely that a class action law suit will be presented to e-on if this continues.
Thread: Cornucopia3D Store Update | Forum: Vue
And why should we see items for buying when we use the import button that we don't own? And why do we have to wait for them to implement this program web store before they fix the bugs in vue? Their priorities are not in line to the customer. I shouldn't have to wait this long to use vue and the new trees I bought. It is depressing.

I can't undestand why one would want to use vue in max or maya when max and maya are so much more superior. What an odd match.
