Also the use of the word " Amnesty" ! Seriously the notion of you've done something wrong but we'll let you off this time ! UNBELIEVABLE. Looks to me that it is Bondware who don't want Poser to succeed !Yup. That's why I put it here at least. I didn't see it anywhere else.Â
(Note that I am in no way affiliated with Rendo. Just want Poser to succeed).

Upgraded. I'm on Windows 7 so not sure it will work. I was waiting for GPU prices to fall before investing in new machine.
Can I say that very very little has been done to promote this offer.

If we are talking about 'the dress scene'

Looks real good. Did you use the Marina Hair? That looks good. Here's what I have so far. The Marina morph and hair- the prop since the character is for Daz-. I also used the Scarlet dress for V4 and the sandals from Business casual.Interesting this topic should come up as I was in the process of assembling decent photos of Marilyn to upgrade an old morph I did. I certainly think it can be improved.
If you want I may be able to provide an injection morph. From memory I used the original SAV texture.Â
The hair is very old Portia hair. My character never had any clothes !

I'm not saying you can't get some reasonable results by playing around for ages.
I have been using Superfly solely for years now. All my many characters do not work currently in Poser 12. So yes I'm going to have to change the skin and material settings for all of them. That's a hell of a lot of work. The problem is that it appears that people are still playing around with settings without yet coming to a reasonable common standard. I'm only going to do this once. That was the beauty of Ezskin.
Have Bondware completed the bugs associated with correctly implementing Cycles ? I haven't heard from them in months.

As far as I remember, the UI is one thing, the shaders is something completely different. hopefully people are working on new shaders.

Yep, that's my standard workaround right now for EZSkin3 as well for Superfly, along with a bunch of other scripts.
Which is OK, except the Ezskin shaders do not work in Poser 12, or do we have updated shaders now ? At the moment Poser 12 is useless to me until someone comes up with new shaders. Is anyone working on this ? I want skin shaders that work and material shaders like metal, stone etc.

Please read what I said !!!!! "I've got green dots on Poser 11, but it requires a manual change of the grey dot texture So yes the default is a grey dot. However, the grey dot is a graphics file that the Poser program displays when the parameter value is anything other than zero. If you access that file in say photoshop or whatever, you can change the colour to green or any colour you like. I just happened to pick the same colour as the Poser developers. No doubt you could do the same in Poser 12. Sorted.

Did this Poser version ever go through beta testing ? All these shader issues should have been immediately obvious. So now the community is doing the beta testing. Poser 12 is no use to me at the moment. I will be buying it when you lovely people sort out all the issues and either correct the problems with the old shaders, or come to some agreed standard on what the new shader set up should be. My guess sometime in the new year.

Worth it for the green dots alone, IMO. I had a big project recently, and went back to Poser 11 for stability's sake, just to be safe. I found really, really missed those green dots.
I've got green dots on Poser 11, but it requires a manual change of the grey dot texture. I agree that it is a big improvement, but not worth paying for something you have already got.

I've put this in another thread, I'll put this here. Dawn 2 - built to work in Poser and Daz. In your Runtimes soonish.
