On your last photo of her bending over backwards I notice that she'll need some skin folds on the top of her wrist as well as visible tendons to enhance the realism further. More detail on the top of her feet like tendons and visible veins will also help. Otherwise, great render!

I for one would love to see a much improved version of the Millennium dog, especially in the way the feet look and behave, which currently reminds me more of horse hooves than paws.

Erogenesis has a new update at his Deviant Art site. Needless to say, she looks more fantastic with each iteration.

You can see nude renders, wire frames, etc and his progress at his deviant art website. He says so far that he has managed to accomplish most of his goals with Project E using weight mapping alone and avoid using JCMs.

erogenesis posted more renders of Project E at his deviant art website if you want to see his progress.

"Good news is that I found a very fast way to convert V4 clothing to this girl. Its not supersleek DS tech but its much better than dicking around endlessly in the fitting room. Everything you've seen her wearing up until now is converted V4 stuff." .
Hi, can someone explain to me the actual advantage of buying yet another female figure and converting V4 content over to her?
"G2 and G3 stuff might also be possible this way"
I would not make any promises about genesis content going forward if I correctly understand Daz impending; "Install only through Daz studio" DRM system
Granted I am a full-on Genesis 2 in C4D user now (V4 is Dead to me), But honeslty I have not seen a render or morph here that cannot be duplicated with existing V4 with all her native content not needing any converting.
Is the point just to have something "new"???
Erogenesis has been developing her because he wants a figure that doesn't have all the limitations that V4 and other figures have when creating his comics, and he is kindly making the base mesh free for people to evaluate to see if she is a useful figure and if they want to do or make anything for her. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything.

"...someone pointed out Daz had issued a statement saying that it was Ok to manually copy a mesh's topology but transferring it automatically was forbidden."
I would guess that as long as you build the rig yourself from scratch, in effect reverse engineering it, then DAZ would not have a problem with it.

I think Project E will have a better chance of success if she came with a generous set of morphs to change her body shape as well as facial expressions, a basic set of clothes as well as a catsuit for people to start creating textures for.

According to their website, FaceGen is licensed by a number of gaming companies as well as used by different universities for research, which could partly explain the price.

Thread: FaceShop 5 anyone got it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I spent too much time wrestling with Faceshop 5's bugs, poorly designed UI and spending hours trying to move dots on the photograph and the poser head only to have the whole app crash and lose all that work. I'm waiting for the Poser compatible version of FaceGen to be released in the summer.

I would just wait for them to deliver on their promise of releasing an app that plays nice with Poser in the summer of this year.

I just finished trying the free version of FaceGen. it is everything that Faceshop is not: polished, bug free, easy and fun to use. Its biggest disadvantage is that it is difficult to integrate it with Poser, but if the company that makes comes through with their promise of releasing a version that works well with Poser later this year, then I will be definitely getting that instead of stickling with Faceshop.

Faceshop 5 for the Mac is very buggy and crashes a lot. It's as if it hasn't been really tested thoroughly prior to release. I keep getting the following:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000008
