Sigh, can someone please stop the daily "Unpaid Order" email? I'm sooo sorry that I clicked the wrong payment option. I was distracted, the sun was glaring of my screen and there were wolfs howling outside my window when I clicked the errant checkbox. I have indeed already paid for the item via another order. Now everyday, the email arrives promptly at 7:00 am fueling my latent anxiety that there is yet something else I have overlooked. My virtual wheelbarrow is already filled to the brim with excess characters from unwanted emails. Thank You for your attention to this.

Since posting this I have turned off the Optix Prime acceleration and I have not noticed the issue again. Not exactly sure what Optix was buying me but my renders are much faster when they consistently use the GPU.

Interesting about the errors associated with the Optix acceleration. I'll try turning that off and see if error recurs. I thought perhaps it was a memory issue but based on what i see from GPU-Z it is not approaching any memory limit or getting too hot. Restarting DS does fix the issue.

Interesting Parrotdolphin. I wonder if it is unique to the 780ti or occurs across other cards as well.

Adding RAM will certainly help for processing large complex scenes with large texture maps. However, if you real problem is trying to do things like browse the web or run other apps while perform large renders the quickest and cheapest option is to lower the priority of the rendering process. Yo can do this from the Task manager on windows. This will technically make your renders run a bit slower but your browser and other interactive applications will be much faster.

Yep. I soon as I last posted it was updated again and Poser failed to start. Sigh. I have turned off automatic updates for now. Thanks again.

Thanks Bill! Very good suggestion. I checked my update history and there was a windows update on 12/30. I backed it out and Poser is now working...at least until the next MS update.

A corrupt file will sometimes generate the "Out of Memory" message in poser although it has been some time since I've seen that. Once quick question, which version of Poser Pro are you using i.e. the 32 or 64 bit version? I sometimes bring up the 32 bit version by mistake.

Thanks Medzinatar and RHaseltine for your response. Simply switching the visibility on for the body part does not work. It is actually on but the part is not showing when the clothing is configured. The item in question is "Street Casual Jeans" for Victoria 7. I'm guessing the issue is with the auto hide group but I'm not sure exactly how you edit this. I toggled the geometry editor and clicked on "Set Auto Hide faces for fitted figure" and I get a list of figures but the only options are to Accept or Cancel. It's not clear how you would turn off the "Autohide" feature. Perhaps there is another aspect of the geometry editor I should be using.
