Wish I knew how to make clothes and stuff for Vicky...Mike...shoot, knew how to PERIOD. I blew hours searching for what I wanted, but no dice. Looks like I'll be painting her gear on instead. Do any of the modelers take requests?

Trans map? Hmmm. Would I make one of those using the regular tex-map templates? One thing I didn't like about BVH's warrior princess bustier-- they never seemed to use the V2 morphs properly and it fit bulky. He's made his own female figure and designed the suits around her, so...I don't know. What else can I do for this? Other ideas?

Best to wipe your drive clean before installing WinXP Pro. This goes for any modern OS, PC or Mac these days. Updating/upgrading instead of replacing will bite you in the rear later on.

I'm on the Mac version. Once Poser launched and had Courier. It was a nightmare to look at, but proved the font can be changed.

Thanks guys. I'm holding off until I get me a WinPC 'step-child' for 3d work. Macs are wonderful for print, publishing and making movies, but seems to just suck when it comes to 3D. 3 times faster? GEEZ!

I used to have nothing but problems with my WinPCs, particularly with internet viruses and such. Switched to Mac 4 years ago and I've never had a problem like this. PC guys, use FireFox or Moz and disable Javascript and Active X. Also, if you turn off CSS rendering, your surf speed will jump thru the roof when using message boards.

Change your display res. either up or down, change freq. (75Hz, 85Hz, etc) That should solve the problem. Some of those DVD-rom bonus extras use wacky software that tries to use vid cards' overlay features but wind up screwing up.

The ones at 3d cafe import into Poser like shattered glass; the bodies are all whacked out. Like somebody took a dremmel and cut out triangles in it. I have the LW file from LWG3d. Thanks for the heads up. Problem now is finding a converter program. hmmm... Oh yeah, I'm on a Mac, too so I'm kinda screwed I guess

The idiot 3d engine under Poser should be rebuilt from the ground up to take full advantage of new vid cards. Every stinkin computer game can get wild effects, high framerates and incredible visuals...but Poser pokes along inside its bubble. Daz Studio tries to do this, but their implementation is only a good first try. Barely useable. I'd love to see a completely new 3d figure program. Poser is all we've got right now, but I'd welcome a change.

So you're saying there's no way to make pose / mat / script files that simply load a figure, conform clothes and attach hair and other props?
