Thread: Beginners question. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A minor update. I managed to bend the arms, but now the hands are so twisted and turned and whatever that I can't get them in the right position anymore. sigh Maybe poser is not for me. Although I won't give up on it yet. But still, if anyone knows how I can get it right I would appreciate it.

Woo hoo, thanks for all those good idea's. :) I got poser 3 since about 2 days, because it came free with 3D World. Which was a very good thing, cause i don't have the money at the moment to buy poser 4. Anyways, I have been practising a bit with it, in the end I got the poser cat in a walking position. After I broke it's legs for about 20 times I think, lol. The cat is a good idea though. :) I think I might need another material for the doorway. This one is so stoney. I did get a few idea's for it myself though. And I used the final render method, but I think I'll try the customised one next time. Some more rendering might get the shadows right. And then the tiled floor. Well, I love the idea. :) Anyways, everyone, thank you so much. grin

Ahem, forgot to tell that I got the bird from zebra3.net and the flowers and plants in pots from 3dplants.com and the flying bird in the distance came from 3dmodelworld.com

Mike, thank you so much for your explanation. Like I said before, I never worked with 3D before, so your whole explanation is really interesting for me. Thank you Rynn

I have been working a bit with that OBJ model, and I found out I can texture every single part of it. Very cool. :) Thank you so much for your advice, atleast now I know I stumbled onto the right format. :)

Umm, no, I haven't done the tutorials yet. I first wanted to read the other parts of the manual. I'm now almost on the editors part. Ones my computer is working again I will be ready to start on the tutorials. :)

Hi everyone, and thanks again for all the tips. I'm afraid my computer crashed sunday, and now it's sort of dead. :( But my dad lets me install one of my 2 graphic programs on his computer (which I am using at the moment). I haven't desided yet if it will be Vue or paint shop pro. Tough decision. And yes, it is Rynn as in Drakan. :) I didn't put the water on the ground plane, I put it on an infinite plane, but I didn't change anything to the texture scale. I have to admit I hadn't read the entire manual yet. blush I couldn't wait to try something out.

Thanks everyone for your opninions, I'm going to think about the reeds next time I make a waterpicture. :) I did try to put some grass on the shores, but I couldn't get it right so I left that out. Thanks again. :)
