I have to agree with EnglishBob that if you use ERC, you could easily have 50-100 parts, otherwise I would likely keep is below 20. The idea of some independently posable bangs or hair tendrils would do a lot for realism. I've always thought it would be cool to have morphs or the ability to go from neat to mussy. Good luck on your project. i am aleays impresed by good hair.

Actually, he only posted the Curls Kyoko hair TEX files here. You have to go to his sight to get the HR2 files and Trans Map for the curls, otherwise you will wind up with funky hair indeed!Thread: BAT Lab - Is he back? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

What do you want to do with the mascara? Just open and pull the brush straight out of the top of the bottle, or do you want to be able to move them both in 3-D space independently? For example; waving both hands with bottle in one and brush in the other. Of course that would result in mascara all over your ground plane }-)

I don't think Poser really has a physics engine, just the cloth dynamics. You might be able to acheive your effect by looking into Ockham's Foster-Parent Python script in freestuff.
Thread: Gallery question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think the intent refers to limitation of Poser like true reflections (prior to Poser 5). People have made images with mirrors or polished floors, but worked within Poser to acheive their reflections, rather than going to Bryce for their final render. I see plenty of renders in the Poser gallery with Bryce terrain and skies, or rendered elsewhere to get volumetric lights, etc. No problem. it's still art. No harm, no foul. I think someone once said there are two types of Poser users: the artists, and the engineers. It was liekly an engineer who made that stipulation }-)
Thread: memory question for Poser 4 on Win 98 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What I've learned is that Poser is processor intensive, not RAM intensive. I have 1GB of RAM on a PentiumII 733. Poser consistently pegs my processor usage, but only uses 100-200MB of my available RAM. Upgrade your OS and your processor if Poser is your main gig.

A female minotaur would be very cool. Something I imagine no one has yet to create. Morphable horns would make a nice addition.

This looks fantastic! I can't wait to see what it is, and more importantly; I can't wait for the tutorial }-) That fur is beautiful, and I imagine a LOT of folks around here would love to be able to produce furry things.

Thread: Posette Vs. Vicky -Creating a new figure for free- | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think I'm going to try to ask for what I want, rather than telling you how to create it. Vicky 2.0 poly count is good and usable for creating morphs. Better joint parameters so the body bends well. Shoulders, elbows and knees are of course the greatest problem. A mannequin figure so we can use LordNakagawa's techniques to fit clothing to her! Logically gathered polys as pointed out by Ockham. A natural shape to the body. Don't knwo that I have anything new here, but it is what I would want. Oh, and...thanks for your generous offer of time and effort. While you cannot please everyone, I am sure many will appreciate your model for all her merits.
