Thread: Using Poser to Build New Figures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
JKeller has a tutorial posted on combining models with the Compose technique which he credits to JeffH. DRESSING UP YOUR POSER CHARACTERS This relates to combining whole models, so may not work for combining parts of models. Haven't tried it yet so dunno - Ask Jeff?
Thread: Violin prop and pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You may be refering to the violin once posted here, briefly:
It can still be found in the Objects section of UnderDog's Fantasy3D site. http://www.fantasy3d.com/ But, although there was an excellent image posted using a Cannoma prop, I don't recall the location of any poses.

To post a pic in a reply it has to have a URL. Then just use the standard HTML code: (img src="put url for picture location in quotes") replacing the parentheses with less-than & greater-than symbols. Nice job on her face - very "non-poser" looking.
Thread: For the post about the "iris" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Pan mentioned it before, but do make sure you are setting ALL the surfaces to White otherwise the surface color will mix with the map color, and may be why your irises were getting muddied-up. Also, if you want to go crazy with the mix-&-match mapping, you can use UVMapper (link at right ->)to easily create new material zones on any part, or any sub-part of a part, that you might want. Like, if you wanted to texture the skin from one map but try different maps on just the face. ....Hey, (slaps forehead) that's not a bad idea!

Yes, but have you noticed that you've never seen both Anton and Anson in the same place at the same time.... hmmmmmm :)

Thread: Long Curls | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It opens OK for me on a 10Mb .CR2 with only 32 Mb ram. But Shredboy is right in that usually C-Exception errors occur for me when memory is thin. Try opening it without any maps, on a cr2 with no morph targets, like one of the default child figures, to see if memory is the problem. Sounds like you got everything in the right folders (or you would get an "OBJ not found" type of error), but after repeated attempts, delete the .RSR for the object file (in the Geometries folder) and let Poser rebuild it. It may have become corrupted on the first attempt and even if you re-install the object file, Poser will ignore the .OBJ file and still load from any existing .RSR first.

floydd has one at PFO that is thin on the right side... and with just a little minus Y-rotation would probably clear the ear.

Thread: Poser3 textures for Poser4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Here's a method I had considered but have not atttempted yet. More complicated than the cloning method but once done by one of us, could be reused by all of us on any texture. Perhaps someone will give it a shot. Here's the idea: Design a Poser scene using a P3 figure and the P4 UV template as a background image. Reduce the Z-axis of the P3 figures body to 0 (or whatever the minimum is)& max out the camera's focal length to make the texture effectively 2D. Place one light front-dead-center. Align the P3 figure, with the texture you want to convert, on top of the background image of the appropriate body part. Render & Paste into background Save as keyframe in animation timeline & move to next frame. Repeat on next body part on map, hiding unnecessary body parts when aligning. When all parts are positioned save the .PZ3 & post it so I can download it. Whaddya think?
