@flibbits**
**I read your post how you parent it and there is a mistake. You cannot parent prop by figure parenting window and that is why you don't see your human character in there. More over if you click in that window on one of your props then the Change Parent from Object menu will be disabled.
Follow this:
I really hope that was a problem:)

Thread: Props Parented to Figure Don't Move With Figure | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Those are not conforming! They have nothing to do with Figure (those are simple props).
And: most props can be called "dynamic". Here dont even try to run simulation on them since the belt is not one geometry (it's made of couple separate pieces so the effect is going to be "strange") but the mask is (one geometry so it can be ran through symulation without problem, but not in your case since it becomes automaticly parented somehow).
And yes IÂ could parent them (not conform!).

It's not much help but try unparent it first: choose prop and set parent to univerese. Now try to parent back.
Downloaded that and all is working as it should, after loading from library the prop shows up and is not parented to anything, then I parent it to corect body part and after posing human figure it moves as it should, so can't help.

Just downloaded that bike. Put Jessi on it. Parented feet (IK on) to pedals and Body to saddle. In last frame rotated crank to 360, pedals to -360 and moved bicycle a little forward. No additional props used. All worked perfect.
VEERY nice bicycle btw.

Don't have that bicycle but I checked what I'm writing now so it works.
I used Jessi instead of bicycle (I'll call her here bicycle Jessi) - her feet worked as pedals and hip as saddle (sound weird? I know:). In the scene I put another jessi as well (New Jessi).
Now I parented left foot of New Jessi to left foot of Bicycle Jessi and right foot of New Jessi to right foot of Bicycle Jessi.
After this I selected Body of New Jessi and parented (from menu) to hip of Bicycle Jessi.
Last I applied walk to Bicycle Jessi and it worked - New Jessi followed Bicycle Jesi without any problems - feet to feet and most important hip to hip.

You still can parent hand to hand of 2 figures but at least one of them must have IK (the one which is going to be parented must be IK Goal - it will appear in: Figure>Use INverse Kinematic menu if it is).
Now switch it on (IK for that hand) and you'll see that set parent button for that hand becomes avaible. Press it and choose hand of other figure to parent to. Done.
Every time you disabe IK for the parented hand the connection between child and parent (those 2 figures I mean) will break. To bring it back just swich IK on again.

To connect 2 hands (or better to say: 1 figure to another) just follow this (but I'm SURE 99% that the result is not going to be what you want, but it makes "parenting" possible):
short way:
Longer way:
Now Fig 1 is controling Fig 2. But as I said at the beginning: don't expect too much from such parenting:)
To disconnect it follow abowe steps but in step 4 (or 5 in second case) choose UNIVERSE

Well, I haven't opened poser for a while but I think you should do like this:
should work.
Â
Thread: A head rotation question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In your example:
And now comes the part which couses dislocation
While IK is on, the position of lFoot is controled by xyzTran (values are saved into cr2 accordingly).
While Ik is off these values are not saved (while IK is off, xyzTran should be 0 usually)
Now when you load your cr2 (which was saved with IK on) and all IK chains are removed from this figure then:
So that is why after removing IK from CR2 (which was not saved in Zero pose) it is necessary to zero xyzTran of IK targets which were moved (the other dials won't make any troubles). It could be corected inside poser if xyzTran were visible while IK was off.
But anyway this is to much troubles.
And I agree with you that it has no sense at all doing this that way since you can just save cr2 inside Poser with Ik set to off:)
And I think we are now totally off topic so just thank you for that pz2 idea from your first post.

I should have mentoined berfore that I'm talking about saving figures in their Zero position (to alter its pose I'd use pz2. That's why it didn't cross my mind to think about example as yours).
If you'll change the position of IK targets (here lFoot) and save figure (cr2) then yes you are 100% right that changing "parents" is not enough (dials that without IK are set to 0 get some value when IK is on - so that should be corrected as well -> Side -Side is a good example).
So when I said "change parent only" I meant in "Zero pose" figure:)

About the names - yes this is very confusing and can couse plenty troubles sometimes:)
The way of changing names inside cr2 to turn IK off for legs is not what I like so I was quite happy when you mentioned about pz2 file.
Fortunately the changes which are made inside cr2 after saving with IK on are not so big.
Each IK target (which is on while saving) has parent set to BODY in actor section and addChild section. That's all (I think:)
Thread: A head rotation question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Moreover, just removed all IK data for all IK chains from cr2 and put them into pz2 - I really like it that way:) and all is working fine.
Thread: A head rotation question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well I must say i had NO idea about pz2.
I just gave it a try and it worked perfectly. From now on I won't touch cr2 file anymore:) - it's much better solution to use pz2 instead.
