You could always do several disp maps for different zones, one could apply them via partial MAT Poses.
Morphs would be more easy to use in other apps though. I would definitely go for morphs if the mesh is not to stretch :)
About the name: Stormy Chase for GND4? She could definitely ride after a storm dressed like that! And i'm pretty sure she would catch it!! Oo

Though i don't trust Storm when he says he don't wear women's boots, i must agree with him for your talent Connie!! :thumbupboth:

Pretty cute?!! Much much more than that!
And the idea to make the straps pass through the heel hole was a very good one, it makes a very interesting look to the boots ^^

Oh no, it's not just you for the voices in the head :)
The size 12 doesn't tell me anything as here the sizes are not labelled the same, anyway it seems Manchester guys are big feeted :scared:
The lace going through the hole, what a great idea! Like that she has not to fear about her boot throwing away when executing an extremely complicating rolling jump, all is securely attached! ^^

Nice start for this one, IMO.
But i would have made the back of the heel less curved. Though you get the shape really well, i really like the flat tip ^^

*Â Â Â Â "Stormy... where's stormy hiding?"
*He's probably so jealous of GND4 who will have such a nice outfit and boots, that he ran straight in the first shoe shop he could find to buy some sweet laced boots like yours ^^
I just hope they will have some in large size enough for him to look nice in those... Oo

Wonderful! I saved your explications as a tut for future project! ;)
And about the second boots, i like the idea of hole in the heel.

I think the rounded part on the front could be slightly 'broken' with a disp map thereafter applied to the sole part.
Connie, may i ask you how did you do those lovely laces? With a curve path?

WIPs are very interesting, because one could see a project behaves and evolves.
Nothing is frozen as it is, all could be changed because of an idea someone tell you, you go on one way, you stop because of a technic you can't master and go on another way, finally you come back to the first because you wan't to try something and it works!
WIP like this one could have a bad side though: you just can't stop begging for it to be released! :D
