Where's the nudity you promised? =) Collision detection is 'computionally intensive'. Maybe when machines are about twice as fast; say about 18 months from now.

The page loads and then jumps to a Please Visit Our Sponors page with a single banner ad and no navigation buttons. Tried it three times. Just FYI.

I was just looking at a 3ds file (a 55 gallon drum, basically a cylinder) and it didn't seem to smooth very well. At least the rims are smooth, but the bigger diamter isn't. Is there a preferred file type? And how do you place a point parallel to a line? Just wondering.

Hey! Use your turn signals! =) I just loaded a file named highes_500.dxf, twice. With Weld Identical Vertexes off it's faceted. With Weld Identical Vertexes on it's smooth as a baby's ...toy. Isn't that what your idea was?

So now I'm confused. I've been working on models of geodesic domes (Dome 4.6 (FAT)==>Meshwork==>.DXF) rendered in Poser, and the first time I rendered after paying the Meshwork shareware fee (to remove the <20 faces limit) it come out smoothed and I was completely flummoxed. I tried again the next night and got a nice faceted shape, and have since. I'll have to go look at this 'Weld identical vertexes' thing. (btw, when I sort some things out I feel almost obligated to post some dome models.)

I assert 'not lame'; but here's a suggestion: Like every pair I remember (haven't checked), there're no nosepads. Small ovals angled to rest on either side of the bridge of the nose.

Could you post a picture of just the top? The bottom and sides look good, but the top looks sort of like a motion blur. And, will it be morphable... at least for movement?

The only workaround I've seen was by PhilC, as in his Karlie and Micra characters. Basically a fine solid/transparent checkerboard that works at some distance. Go for v4.0x. You get Spotlights and Magnets, too.

Any chance it was message number 62930, 62949 or 63410? I can't search by message number to confirm this.

If Poser could have just one spline curve, I'd want it to be the profile of the face. Nice, btw...thanks
