Quote - I have the main Poser window on my main monitor, with everything docked, and use the second monitor for my floating windows such as the Library, Hierarchy editor, Python palette.
I have had no problems at all with this approach. Poser 8 remembers the positions of all my windows, docked and floating, across both screens.
Pretty much same for me and no problems with display across monitors

Quote - Â Also, don't forget about double checking your registry integrity, if you are using Windows. There is still detrius left over after -any- uninstall, and dangling COM stubs or Active X controls can do some extremely disturbing things (and no, you don't trust Windows to keep it clean; it can't). Everyone should have a registry cleaner, or something akin to Norton Utilities to keep things working properly (and anyone who has ever deleted a folder instead of uninstalling whatever app was in their has set themselves up for chaos).....
Agreed and I have several including Norton

Ok question I saved a file( pz3) and just tried to open it but surprise what I get in my Document window looks like a screen capture of my monitor background
The hierarchy tab shows all of the figures and lights and if I select one it makes no change in the parameter tab or the document
Any idea?
Previously saved pz3 s fro PProopen fine

Be sure that your video drivers are up to date as that tends to be the biggest source of irritation
