Thanks, I will! I thought so myself when looking at the maps, but before I make an idiot of myself at Daz, I prefer someopinions here at "home". Thanks again! O, btw: this is created for the freak, but it works perfectly on V3 also. If it wasn't for that seam.

No need to panic! Yes, like I said, on V1,2 and the milgrls the texture works fine. On V3 not, unless, indeed you use this V3/V2 version which I never used before for anything. And this is NOT (I'll also use capitals, just like you) mentioned in the readme or the tutorial. In both you only speak of UVmapper, not of V3/V2. Besides: I doubt whether this is a full V3. I like the bioborg, and I'm happy with it, and I would buy it again. So: yes: it's very good. But you must understand that your English is even worse than mine, and that your readme's are difficult to understand.

This is one of the gliches in XP. I have another one in XPPro, namely that I can't create a new folder on the desktop by clicking the icon (when downloading,...) I have to right-click and choose new>folder. Normally this is a sign that win is getting fat. Best would be to do a new install after a couple of years of hard work. Other option is to go back to a control point you created (hopefully) when all worked fine. Best option is to buy a rack and a second HDD, install win on that one also and use one for experiments and one for work. Nothing illegal here as you can never use both at he same time. There is a file you need to save to avoid having to do a new install, but I forgot which one.

Nearly everything has been said. I would never do any serious colour work on a tft. But I love the tft on my laptop for creating websites, surfing,...even Poser stuff. TFT is good for everything, except things that need quality colour or brightness settings.

Do not follow that link to fortunecity as it opens lots of popups and even spyware! I browse now with my laptop -no spyware prog installed- and I can install one to get rid of that crap.

Thread: Will Poser or D|S users ever benefit from GI Lighting? Doubt it. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree on weightmaps, but then you will see how the Poser community is going to be divided into two categories, and believe me,most people will swear by what they have, and spent a small fortune on. Zygote created fully riged characters for Cinema4D, but they don't even come close to Daz' unimesh. So I'd say that Daz should create their quality of characters with weightmaps (better joints), soft IK, etc for use in those big apps, and continue a version like Poser users use now for people who want to stay on the well-throdden paths. Yet it all depends on what Poser6 will be. And what its interface will be. Personally, I'm not very impressed by the KK impracticality and the workfits instead of workflow.

Thread: Another P5 problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I sometimes have a similar kind of problem, but these are no real freezes. I have to click the workspace -studio in Poser speak I think- and the loading starts anew and always comes to a good end. I run P5 04 325 (help>about Poser) on a WinXPPro machine, PIV 3.06GHzHT, 1,5GB DDRam. It has nothing to do with your puter, but with the complexity of what you are doing and just did. Up to now I never had a real freeze caused by Poser. KFC (keep fngers crossed)

Thread: Is it safe to move a Runtime onto another? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm still rather new to Poser... You can always make a backup of our original/main runtime folder so you can place it back. I now also create an empty runtime folder (no subfolders) and first install in that one, just to see what is put where and eliminate the P4 versions (I run P5), grouping the readme's etc and organize everything like I hope I'll remember what I put where. I copied the original P5 Runtime, and placed it at another location so that I can use things in it but don't force Poser to load it all. In fact, I suppose freestuff, new things, clothes, props etc all mrit a separate Runtime. Load it when you need it. A bit slower, yes, but when do you need everything immediately? And Poser launches much faster. And it's easier to find things. Ahhh...plans...I'm really hooked I suppose, and I downloaded way too much, and spent much more mney than I ever intended. (welcome to the club I suppose...) What hinders me is the habit of merchants to have their folders start with a ! so that it should be on top. But they all do that, except for some who try to outdo even these. The only effect is that the folder has to be renamed. When overwriting, don't choose "yes to all", but simply yes. Wen a file is found that bears th same name, Win will ask you whether you want to overwrite or not. There are also good apps for organizing Runtimes, but I haven't tried them out yet myself. I will very shortly.

Real world? let me laugh! Everything is radiation and energy in constant interplay. On sub atomic level there is more "nothing" than anything. More "transparancy" than opacity. You are tricked by your senses, that's all.

Thread: How to know which figure the pose applies to? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm rather new to Poser (5) myself, and although I had a big mouth on organizing, I am now facing the same problem as you. I suppose, to keep things manageable, I'll have to switch to several runtimes as one is way too large. I downloaded several freebies, got a platinum membership, downloaded, bought...and some of Daz' things are really eloquently named. Just try to find out what it is. Same goes for all those freebies: install them in your main runtime, and try to find out what belongs to what, and incase you don't like, what you have to delete? I still believe in a well organized set of runtimes, but it is a job. The latest things I downloaded were renamed by me on download, and from these I know what it is and for whom. But the rest...
