Sounds like that may solve the problem. The "Eyeballs" need to be transparent. So after the import the eyes will look as if they are a solid grey. Control click and find the "Eyeballs' and set the material to a transparent one. Hopes this helps and was the problem. james

Thread: Liza witha a Z or Lisa with an S? hehehe | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Unfortunatly a lot of PhotoShop work. A lot of extra lashes were added. The hair is PhotoShop also. The rest are morphs. All mine except Travelers Round Nose morph. The eyes? Do you mean the texture? There was a "millitexture" on the board a little bit back. I grabbed that one. I'm not even sure she has blue eyes?!?! James

The original now looks more like her mom. Where this new one looks a bit more like her. And way more Post work. James

The 'retractable' brows are for transparency mapping. The face tex map should just be a flesh tone or a base eye brow. Then the other brows float slightly above with a trans map to look more realistic. But they are quie large. Great for that bushy look. As time goes on I'm sure this will work beautifully. James
Thread: Jack- would a temporary Victoria forum be useful? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Then we'd have to jump from forum to forum. Not too bad, but it's nice to have Poser all in one place. The "Victoria" thing will subside. Would you open up a new Forum if Poser5 came out? Or How about splitting up all the Breast enhancements to a new forum. (I'm tired of those) This is a NEW toy for the community, and just because not everyone likes her or wants her, to me doesn't mean she needs to be banished to another forum. I say just leave things they way they are. We all have to do our share of filtering. James

Thread: MAC to PC conversion | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Martin if you haven't been told latley. You are indeed up there in the GOD status. This program is such a blessing. I laugh at the FS pages when it says "PC only" I know with this utility I can use it too. Thanks so very much for this outstanding utility! James (MAC G4 400mhz)

The Mac Converter also converts the other way. Open it up go to the "expert menu, and you'll see an "export to PC" that opens another window. Drag and drop (copies never use the origional just in case) the file you want converted. Viola! James
Thread: Dumb Victoria question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had this problem in a zip file (I'm on a MAC) It turned out the .bin files were jpegs. Go figure. This happened with the Victoria iris color download. James

Nope sorry she looks like a woman in drag to me. Trust me on this one I live in San Francisco, and I've seen a lot of this. Maybe with a few morphs. hehehehehehe James
Thread: My attempts at Victoria morph target Now Posted FS Pages | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Plain and simple file size reduction. I'll use the head as an example. And note, that i'm on a MAC, which should make no difference. ------------------ Cut and Paste ---------------------------- Morph SIZE reduction ---------------------- If you already have a morh target saved skip to "5" ---------------------- 1: Set all dials to Zero. 2: Set the morph you want to the setting you want. 3: Select the head and "Export" as a WaveFront Obj 3a: When requester comes up, deselect ALL (including the "Universe" 3b: Select the "Head" only. Do NOT include the Eyes. 4: Select OK, and when the next requester comes up, again deselect ALL, and select Save as Morph Target Only. 5: Now open up the new Obj file in a word proccesser. 6: The top section will be all you need. ( All the lines starting with a single "v" 6a: Remove everything below this or any line that does NOT begin with a single "v" 6b: Note/TIP: The next set of commands start with a "vt" do a serch from top for "vt". Everything below and including the "vt" lines are not needed. Remove. 7: Save this as a new file (different name -- always keep originals) That's IT. A 1.5 meg file down to around 300k Now open Poser select the figure you applyed the morph to origionaly. "Get info" "Load Morph target" ------------------ End ------------------------------------ Hope this helps. And is correct, this is what worked for me James
Thread: A More fair comparison - P4NF, EVE & Victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A question, since I just downloaded EVE just before I put together the comparison. Does EVE have the same problems with no conforming clothes? I did notice she also is split up quite differently than the P4NF. Allerleirauh. I've been working on facial morphs, I'll see what I can do for the Body morphs you asked for and post that. I do agree Vicilli needs a bunch of tweaking here and there, but I really did buy her for the extra verticies. Which give a ton more oppourtunities to mold her. James
