xcenic, i read the forum, open images up and at times i'm downloading at the same time. If i can ask what isp are you with, could be them not the fact you have a dialup. The one i'm with isn't bad at all, i have been connect to the net for 28 hours now and still things are runng ok for me. Infact i'm downloading a 13 meg file while posting this and looking at an image on another site while waiting for a page to open on a site my girlfriend and i play a game on.

Yes AS firefox has tabs so do a few other browsers, i found cnet.com a great site for looking for browsers or other things. The also let you know which programs have bundle ware(spyware) in them on the program description page.

xenic101, i know the problems you face on a dialup. I work around it by opening the image in a new window and carrying on looking at the others or browsing the forum.

FWTempest, i'm sorry but you can't gold plate your glasses in 24K gold as the gold would be to soft and it would show up teeth marks if one happens to bite the rim of a glass. If any jeweller tells you they can plate anything in 24K they are talking bull, they can only plate things in 9-18K and even then 18K gold plating would be rare for a jeweller to do. Oh also you can't just go putting gold plating on glass without first plating them in silver so the gold can have something to take a hold on. gee talk about getting technical on something ;)

Aldaron, i can totally understand what you and everyone else is saying or trying to do. I'm sorry about my attitude towards those that were just pointing me in a direction that was to help me with a solution for what i would like to do.
At the moment i would just like to try and stick with learning Bryce and later on move into the world of doing 3d models. What i said about using Poser or anyother 3d modeling program i may have said in the wrong way, I'm interested in being able to use something in that line of the 3d art world but just not yet.
With my age, medical problems and other things going on in my life i have a hard time with learning Bryce at the moment let alone anything else.
Sorry all for sounding rude and un-appreciative for your help, i didn't mean to sound that way at all. I blame myself for not reading your post correctly and realising you guys were only trying to help me out with my problem.
Thanks again and one day i will look at the use/learning of Poser and i hope that you all are around then to give me the same kind of help you gave here :)

perlgoodies, ok i am new to bryce as well but i think i can help here, no screen shot so i can't point at the items for you to see where they are. I'll be instructing you with bryce 5 so i hope you have that on :) Ok get your terrain, click on the E on the menu that pops up on the right of it. When the terrain editor opens you'll see on the left hand side a rectangle with three circles, an upside down triangle and a square on it. Ok, first part: on the upside down triangle, you'll see the red dot they mention in that tut. Secondly: the hardness is the second circle from the top. hold your cuser on it then while holding your left mouse button down move your mouse to the right Third: the brush size is done by holding your curser on the top circle and moving your mouse left or right, depending on the size brush you want to use. Hope these hel you, like i said i'm new so i might have taken the long way to explain these.
