Just as one artist has the right to want to improve their work, another artist certainly has the right to not want to improve their work. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that either. Art is about freedom. How dare any of you try to demand your own personal goals and halfwitted morals onto anyone else. Until the TOS here at renderosity states this is a professional artist only site, I think you all should really be a bit more tolerant... and spend less time whining and more time brycing.

Thanks everyone. I took a look at all your links. Some are really pricey. I wish I had the bucks to spend on the Deep UV and Paint combo. There doesn't seem to be a middle priced app in the 200 dollar range.

I love the colors you've chosen. The sun and clouds are very dramatic, and bring a lot of emotion with them. Very pretty scene. To me the lower third of your scene has too much ground cover showing. It brings too much weight to your overall composition. Maybe move the camera up a bit, or even a little crop off the bottom?

That's one excellent sci-fi scene. There's a couple of spots that the lights show up dead on the building's corner, which takes a bit of the realism out of it. Hardly noticeable, yet it did stick out to me anyways. Nothing that a quick postwork can't fix. Everything else is grand.
Thread: Bryce vs Athlon 64...any idea? | Forum: Bryce
I'd think you'd be happy with the 64. You may want to decide on which socket to use (on your motherboard). The 939 may offer you an upgrade path to one of their dual core chips later on down the line, so keep that in mind. Let us know what you come up with!

Ang25, the voucher will automatically be applied to your order on checkout. The daz system keeps up with it for ya. I believe the only time you need to provide a code for discounts is for gift certificates and coupons.

Careful Swade on what you imply. Noone said AS was yanking anyone's chain. I just wanted to compare some notes so as to help me in my buying habits. We also have to keep in mind, what I consider a minimumum "killer" machine for Bryce rendering, may or may not be the same as what AS calls a "good/average" pc. It also depends on of your scrapping out an older machine for parts. New Operating system? What do you consider minimum ram for Bryce now and it's future...512, gig, or more ram? DVD burner for backup? We're here to learn, not accuse ;)

I for one, would like to see the exact specs on the 700 to 800 dollar pc AgentSmith talks about. That seems a little low, unless he has connections to buy at a reseller's price. I build my own too (at retail). I have yet to be able to break under the thousand dollar mark. I'd love to hear any tips and/or places for some good deals. Also, I found the above link while surfing and it seems to have some pretty good deals. They seem to only use ASUS motherboards too which is my preference.Thread: Vue 4 tree textures | Forum: Vue
Say it isn't so nano! That's down right silly willy for a 199 dollar piece of software. Maybe in version five? Thanks for the info!
