I found I have that bed and while the covers of it are nice high poly, the mattress is only 1 polygon so it's not going to bend when you use a magnet. you can still dent the bed a little, just not much. Ben's a light kid though. Unless it's a waterbed, he isn't going to sink much
1 make sure the magnet and all parts are set to the bed. If you look at the hierarchy pallet, it will look like it's parented to the bed.
Next scale the mag zone to fit around Ben. I set the display of mine to wire frame so you can see it easier in my shots
Move the mag down until you have the blankets pressed down
Even though in this one, the mag zone looks like it's big enough to cover Ben the dent in the covers isn't. And you can see the mattress (i made it purple for higher visibility) not sinking too.
A little more adjustment on both the mag and mag zone and a little movement on Ben's arms because they were lower than the body and we have him sinking in. This is as low as I can go because of the mattress showing through the blankets if I go any further. But even a subtle sink will help with it looking more real.

Using a magnet on the bed might work. First, check to see if the top of the bed has enough polygons. Display>Document style> texture shaded. If you see a bunch of squares (or triangles) on the top of the bed, a magnet will work. You can change the display style back to texture shaded once you've checked.
make sure the bed is selected and then create a magnet. Adjust the location and size of the magnet zone so it roughly follows the shape of Ben and then move the magnet up or down to make the dent.
If the bed doesn't have enough polys to make the dent, you'll need to subdivide it (on the properties tab) and use a morph brush to make the dent. I think I remember you've used the morph brush before, but if you need instructions, ask.

I have a 20xx series and while Poser 11 will render with the GPU, it doesn't have the Optix option and that makes so much difference in speed.

I don't believe Optix was available in Poser 11. And if you're using the GPU for rendering, you won't be using much CPU power because the GPU is doing the heavy lifting. And using larger buckets will also speed up GPU rendering. I often have mine at 2048 vs 32 for CPU. You'll have to test to see what's the fastest and what your computer can handle for your scenes. Some of my busier scenes, I shrink it some.RedPhantom posted at 7:34 AM Wed, 12 June 2024 - #4486081
Yes, I think the reason was so you could use your computer for other things while Poser is rendering.I'd go with the Optix option. It is so much faster than anything else. And while I'm no expert, I've always been under the impression you want software to use all the threads if needed. Having it use less than that might be for if you want to multitask.
I will give Optix a try. I bought Poser 13 awhile ago, but was still mostly using Poser 11. I had no idea Optix was a thing.

Thread: WTH is “poser world”? | Forum: Community Center
The latest figures they support are Dawn and Dusk. They aren't selling stuff Poser stopped selling. By Poser, I assume you mean Renderosity or Poser Software. They make and sell their own content. Much of it is very old. Their props might be of more use currently than their clothing until you get comfortable enough with Poser to use the fitting room.

If you look at the other thread, you will see that Tim states "To help the HiveWire principals take care of their customers, we built a
vendor tool for them where they could gift past customers the same
products on Rendo. We will make this same offer to any HiveWire
Contributing Artists that are interested. Please open a Vendor support
ticket to initiate." Please follow these instructions rather than trying to be disruptive.
