I don't have it open right now, but I believe there is a Create menu at the top, and basic lights (distant, Spot, etc), you can use to add these to the scene. Cameras shoud be there as well. You open the Scene tab to see the listing of everything in your scene. Select the Light or the camera in the scene tab, and then you want to look at the Parameters tab to adjust light and camera settings (like Focal distance)

You could use a d-form to pull the two shoulder straps out using x-scale...that could help.
I am actually going in the opposite direction, so I won't be of too much help. 
I found my renders getting more sexy, and I am once again dialing them back to "cute and fun". It's a slippery slope that I find myself fighting often!

There is the Primal Outfit for G3F, which is more like fantasy swim wear. In most cases where I am searching for something specific, I end up kit-bashing it together, and applying similar textures. There is always that option, Good luck on hunting!

There are some types of Poser morphs that didn't work in newer DS (PMD). Most of the PZ2 stuff should work, I believe. See this thread: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2922537
In DS there is a Surfaces Tab, and in there there is Bump, Displacement and Normals. Textures may need some tweaking. Most should load fine.
Daz has 3delight and iray. The poser stuff comes over more compatible with 3delight. Then there are some plugins (in the store) that can get you 90% of the way to convert to iray, if you prefer. (or there are tuts how to do it)
Just keep asking questions, and folks will answer! I left Poser at v9, and tried to go back once, but it was too large of a gap.

I have a similar problem with an Extreme Makeup kit from Daz, and its actually a bug that it is not applying it to the translucency channel. You can also try that and see if it addresses your issue.
