k i tired your way and got totally lost with it. i well have to play with that technique. then i tired something off the top of my head. i remembered that i can save multiple props at the same time by selecting sub select...duh. well i did that and now i can use the trans to move the drawer in and out. i can just set the limit so it doesnt move all the way out into lala land. this works better in my case cause i have alot of doors and drawers. the doors i just move the joints to where they need to open. well thanks, im still going to play with your idea though, its something new to learn and i love to learn. bea

Thread: Teaching or Tutorial help wanted | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
ok thanks. im going to try out the tutorial by philC first. if that works for me then i well get the book. i have a hard time learning by most tutorials so i dont want to spend alot of money on things that may not help me. i thank you all for your help, it has been very helpful in getting me to where i need to go to learn all this stuff.

thank you phil, right now your page is coming up...page cannot be displayed. maybe to many people in there so i well try again later. i didnt know that the setup room in p5 is like propack. i never got that far in p5 to find out. well she has since sold the software to someone she knows. im not worried about it though, i think i need to learn the program i have now better anyhow. i dont see myself being a true clothing modeler anyway until i learn to do all of it. this includes texturing which im still learning that also. but i can do the basics of it.

yeah but i dont use poser5, i use propack. i usually dont like to read software books meant for software i dont have or dislike and poser 5 is one of them. got that program as a present from my sister, installed it and removed it withing one hour. repacked it and shipped it right back to her. guess it was to powerful for my computer system cause it lagged so bad i couldnt even move around in there freely.

well i cant afford this program right now. i was told some people use uv mapper to cut thier clothes, does anyone know how to do it that way? poser i have tired before, but it was really hard especially not knowing exactly where to cut the clothes. most of the clothes i made are close to the body. my package which well come out soon wasnt made close to the body though as its a princess dress. but i had someone else do that for me at the time. i just know i really need to learn this stuff and i do want to. i have a hard time though learning by tutorial but an easy time learning by what someone is telling me. this is how i learned to model. im a fast learner but unlike many people im not a busy as they are to teach...hehe.
