You may want to check out the demo first.Thread: any new v4p to (lightwave, c4d, etc) images out there? | Forum: Vue
LOL - never thought of that! Might just give it a try first...how cool, thanks for the input.

DMM, I'm looking into the very same things - glad to hear the synchronization works, haven't tested it yet. Today I'll be getting XFrog, which everyone seems to recommend around here. Which compositing program to you use? I'm considering Prometheus/FX, it's fairly cheap and seems to do the trick. The others (Combustion, AE, DF) costs a months salary...well, mine, anyway... :(
Thread: Vue4Pro4.51Update267052 & VueProRenderCow Setup | Forum: Vue
Hi, Dale - so you're saying I don't need to update my external cows if they seem to be working? Nothing has changed? Hmm...my cows do work rather well at the moment (after I discovered that strange port thing), so I wouldn't want to jeopardize anything..

I concur with at least half of John12's statement. Vue Pro crashes on average twice an hour on my machine. Vue d'Esprit would probably be preferable in that sense.

Hmm - the RenderCow setup does not seem to actually do anything. I run the setup file and it does nothing! Anyone having the same problem? Or am I missing something here?

Okay, I misunderstood the layout (d'oh!), but I still think 80 dollars is too much. I also have to add duty (around 5%) and VAT on top of that (25%), plus the local Fedex handling charge (around 15). Nice offer, but I think I'll pass.. :(

MightyPete, it doesn't work in IE either - CL's webmaster must be out of town...brilliant. Hmm...when I try to order via the regular shop, I'm redirected to egisys.de which has no mention of this offer...what am I missing here? (I live in Denmark)
Thread: Big Problems with RenderCow... tech support have no suggest!!! | Forum: Vue
Well, another thing - my setup didn't work until I changed the port number on the cow running on my workstation, i.e. the one with Vue Pro. Maybe the HV manager gets confused? Anyway, after I shifted it to 5001, everything worked beautifully and still does. (Dale B gave me that idea - thanks man)

x-man, do you get any error messages or does the cow just quit? Try renaming the RenderCow.eon into RenderCow2.exe (or whatever) and running that instead. This should provide an error description - I discovered a missing dll that way..!
Thread: try again (LW model/tex import to Vue) | Forum: Vue
Hmm....okay, this is a new one. Just a thought - does this object of yours have any depth? I can't really tell from the picture. Vue may become confused if an object is zero-depth.
