I would definitely want to keep the face room. While it can't be used on many figures it is great for generating randomised faces for background characters. For those figures it supports it is much quicker and easier to use than the morph tools.

Unfortunately for the OP, the combine figures, reduce polys functions are not in poser 2014, they were game dev features. A couple of obvious things to try are to use a different display style, I find smooth shaded helps, and use low poly figures where possible, such as those by epici and thunderr here at Rendo and the predation figures (Lorenzo, Loretta etc) at DAZ

A couple of points. The op stated they have poser 10, but mentioned the fitting room. However the fitting room was not included in poser 10, only poser 2014, the pro version of poser 10, so if the op has p10 rather than p2014 they gain the fitting room and a 64 bit system (p10 was 32 bit problem and could cause problems with big scenes, not enough memory could be used) and copy morphs from etc. As someone who does big scenes the game dev features now included in p11, combine figures, reduce polys are important features

You can have poser 11 installed on more than one machine, however running more than one at a time is probably against the license restrictions (poser 2014 checked your local network and wouldn't let you run the program on two machines simultaneously). However poser 11 includes queue manager, which allows you to render over a local network without poser itself running on the other machine, so it is quite possible to render on one machine while working on another.. It also has a render in background option.

On the downloads page where you got poser from you will see a link "Download additional files (licence required)". Click on this enter your serial number and you will be able to download and install all the legacy content added to poser since poser 4 (and the poser 4 and before if you don't already have this available) plus a load of new content, including the Hivewire figures Dawn Dusk and baby Luna.

As for the rendering, this is to do with render settings and there are many threads and tutorials on this site to help you with this.

It looks like you have switched from open gl to sreed. Right click on the display window and ensure open gl is selected.

You haven't said what your cpu is. If you look at individual threads while moving around you will see most threads are very lightly loaded so although the cpu is only running at a lowish percentage, one thread is running at or near max.

One way to speed things up is try another display style. In the standard ui setup there is the display style pallet at the bottom left corner, a set of orbs. The default is texture shaded, but smooth shaded might the ok for your use, and using this or one of the other styles might help you.

In simple view in the Material room, click on the transparency map thumbnail, (bottom right) and a new pop up window appears allowing you to browse for a new transparency map. Above the browse button in this window is a little down pointing arrow, click on this and the first option is none, select this. Then make sure you have set the transparency value back to zero.

One advantage crossdresser has over wardrobe wizard is that you only need the licence for the figure you are converting to, you don't need to have a licence for the figure you are converting from.

If you mean the menu option for older figures which you selected, this was deleted in poser 11.2, but you can use this

If you mean genitals for LaFemme/L'homme, these are not included in the basic figures free with poser 11, you need to purchase the pro figures.

(Dawn and Dusk, part of the free additional have never included genitals, a decision made by Hivewire, their creators)

I only use poser so can't talk about blender, and no-one knows what poser 12 will be.

However the problems I see with the system you have described is that with AMD graphics you will not be able to use gpu rendering in superfly, and the cpu only has 4 cores without hyperthreading (or whatever AMD calls it, this is what allows 4 cores to act like 8 cores) so cpu rendering will not be particularly fast, so personally this is not a machine I would choose for poser
