Hi thanks for the input :) and the vert tight curl is what i was going for :) should have postd the prevue as well :) the render looks straight and frized this is true :) wasmainly trying to show that the colision was working in that the hair lifted and pushed forward by her hands. but for sure the coments are right. Smiles thanks aleks for being honist in your feelings of the post :) can defenitly understand being a bit gun shy with things as they have been latly. I should have been a bit more exspliced in what i was showing here. do need to get it to flaten out and more bunched like the previue looks tight curled dredlock almost but this render shure didnt show them. Laters Vel :)

Hi yes this works :) to reduce the load and give the full thick hair apperince. the hair onder neith mearly becomes a volumiser. So use fewer hairs underneith and just enough verts to get the bend you want. the only draw back is that you can only relay use hair layed out this in styeled mode, or you end up with thins spots and uneven forming when you run the sims. what i have found to work best is to run a high dencaty part/scalp line make the hair short just long enough to merge with the longer lower densaty flowing hairs for the simulation. set the lower fewer hairs up so they fall and add to the others they meet this plus the scalp line thick/many short hairs gives a very plush thick look with much lower drag on comp resorces. hope this helps Laters Vel

Hi yes you can do this and it works good. But and a big But P5 cloth needs to keep moving once it reached the point it can no longer drape or it pokes through enough to stop it from moving it will drop out. so for a still fraim shot make the draping short enough that is move to the end of the fraims. or keep the charicter in motion through out the animation stoping only long enought for the hair to settle them move it again or it will stall. hope this helps Laters vel
Thread: P5 Full Sceen render. havent done one in a while :) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Zodo Yes you could do this with Bryce :) all i did was creat the sceen in Wourld Builder. Save it as a jpg then emport it as background pic. the trick is to render your sceen in bryce at an angle the permits you to insert your poser caracter/s so they look like here walking in the sceen. Takes a bit of getting used to, to get the perspective right. Also make sure you line up your lighting to match that of the sceenerie pic you made. have fun and hope this helps :) Laters Vel

Cloth calculations be it poser 5 maya, TrueSpace or 3dmax all requier a lot of system resorces. I use cloth sims in maya TrueSpace and Poser 5. of the three listed Posers Cloth Simulation is the fastest and next to the most versatal. as to antena drape and so on. I have exsperamentd with working with full box modeling and draping it works thow takes a lot of fideling to keep the mesh from calapsing in on its self, in short with your antenas on a charater you should be able to get the drape/flow of motion as your chars head moves around. hope this helps Vel
