Here's a wild idea.
In the furure when people submit entries to contests why not also ask for license details?
If somebody wins then you will check the license details with the software vendor.

This is standard procedure when buying plugins, add-on etc from other sites.

if some one is gonna be a warez user they wont buy plug ins they';; steal em. as fopr giving over a licence to a 3000 dollar app to a site thats stuff is all over the warez net.....i've actuaaly stopped using all daz and poser products that don't come with the app cos the torrents sights are full of em. i deleted all my runtimes cos i'm thinking ..i don't knopw what i'm thinking but i know from now on i'll only use what i make and what comes with the app. i saw poser 7 on a torrent site and it had over 3500 downloads lmao. it's a farce.

not sure but i don't think trade mark works on mesh design. i think it works on the finished product from a visual aspect. if the apc is trade marked then an apc that looks  the same can be an infingement. shoot me down if i'm wrong. i think this is what spanki was saying as well. if thats the case the original poster is within his rights to bring it up without being slammed

i think thats the best attitude to have. as long as the comments aren't a condemnation of someones work i think genuine feedback at least gives a writer something to think about even if they choose to ignore it. crits aren't written in stone and the writer always has the last say. a good comment should never be aimed at stopping a writer from writing.

Not to take away from your argument of the reality of racism from all sectors of the human race, but there is a huge difference between seperatism (different ethnic groups should live in different areas and remain separate) and supremacism (my skin colour is better than your skin colour...). Whilst neither is aprticularly helathy attitude (in my humble opinon, anyway), practicing separatists rarely do anyone any harm, but simply keep themselves to themselves. Supremacists, on the other hand, have no qualms about whaling in on 'inferior' people - if they even consider such victims peope in the first place.

this is the one where i'd go even further and ask  "does a painting with nazis and kill all jews glorify the holocaust or denigrate the nazis. why can't it just be a piece of work that depicts what happened? does a painting of rice fields stacked with skulls depict the horror of the killing fields or does it say" hey wasn't this fun.  sometimes a work that in some way does depict the glorification of some foul deed(lets say the rape of the sabine women) but the art isn't in the glorification. thats a by product. the art is in it's depiction. it shows the kind of people who the painting glorifies and in doing so reminds us of mans inhumanity to man. is that a bad thing. i think every now and then we should look at pics of nazis dancing on jewish graves and smiling less we forget what really happened, so our kids and our kids kids can ask.
