I use chrome and it worked for me. it still does by the way. So I now have this shader, but I even can't copy it here as a txt-file. Stupid TOS. Any idea where I can upload it without breaking any rules?
I have made a printscreen of it, would this help?
This is the compound node. On the left you have the output: displacement, diffuse and specular, on the tight the input: displacement, diffuse, specular.
Hope this will help.

There is a way to copy the shaders: Rightclick the "broken" image, select: open as new tab. goto new tab, rightclick again, and select saveas. You can saveit as a MT5 file, and name it into something meaningfull, I named it: Soapy.mt5
By the way: This is a great shader!

Thread: Is There Anybody Out There...? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A lot of people have moved to cgbytes, me included. It's not so busy at the moment, but a lot of interesting threads are going on there: EZskin, Project E (new poser figure by erogenesis), new superfly materials. But I'm still visiting the "old" forums, but they seem awfully quite.

Poser Place Weight Mapped V4 and the Poser Place Outfitter script are in the RuntimeDna store. (so are Antonia Standard, and Antonia Weight Mapped for that matter...
Since it is now forbidden to put links to anywhere other than where we already are, your gonna have to do some typing.... :)
Type "Poser Place" into the Runtime store search, and it will come up at the top....
But alas, a link would not have been 4 freaking lines of text....
This sentence will make it five lines, just to prove a point....
I totally agree, this not linking policy doesn't make any sense.

AFAIK Outfitter is still available at RDNA, just search for outfitter in the store and choose poser's place outfitter. It is free!

I remember you on the freebie forum, you make nice stuff. I think this whole new TOS rule, makes the forum quite useless. AdamTwaithes was one of my favourites: gone! The links in the japanese freebies: gone! and I can on like that. We used to have nice stickied thread with all kinds of links for materials and tutorials: gone! If a newbie or anyone else asks where he could find something, it's no longer possible to give an answer This used to be a great and fun forum with dozens of posts every day and interesting discussions that went on forever. This whole place has gone to the smithereens, Rendo should be ashamed of itself.

Thread: Is Poser Dying? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Perhaps poser is dying as a commercial product, but I won't be surprised if some day it will be an open source program like blender or linux, that will be the best for the community and poser. There are enough enthoustiast and fanatic volunteers who will support it. Anyhow, it's something that will never happen to DS.

Revenge!
Victoria 4, she may be old but still bends. This is an old firefly render I may a long time ago as a joke, converted to cycles superfly : all materials except for the stool are cyclesmaterials.

You understand that your comments will push me to limits to get a convincing realistic render. I know everyting about lousy textures and the last week I've seen quite a few. Instead of making comments about stupid grins you should better look at the skin. For my next render I will use the most fat and ugliest woman I have made in the last 10 years and put the most grumpiest expression I have made on her face. That will teach you!!!!! And as butter on the cake I will dress her in the tiniest bikini I can find. So you are warned!
But being serious... Perhaps I've got have choosen a better expression and character, but I just wanted to show the skin and I needed a vehicle. The figure is click and render (not!, rendersettings need also time),, the skin is not. I have spent hours and hours to get the right nodes and settings. Every material zone has got its attention and all have have different settings,(although I believe I forgot the feet) I have even considered to make a new material zone for the ears. And believe me, I don't have a 5-node shader Not as big I had for V4 on firefly , but about 20 at least.
Superfly (or cycles) is a new episode for poser, so we will have to learn things again. Solutions we have had in the past, don't work anymore so we will have to find new solutions.
Perhaps we need a sticky thread where we can share our experiences.
Best regards,
Bopper.

Thread: Poser 11/Poser 11 Pro: Bug Reports | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There is something wrong with HDR-files when you close and reopen Poserpro11. Yesterday I made a render with great results. Today I opened the file again and the results were horrible. Reloading the HDR-file in the environment dome fixed the problem.
When you are in superfly mode, preview is white, which is known, but when I have a cloth with a firefly shader, it doesn't somehow aligh with the figure and the figure pokes through the cloth (a dress in this case).
And I'm getting completely nuts about the library, I have to rekick over and over again.

Pffff.. That's a relief! They broke a lot of things with the new upgrade, but at least I can still render my old files. Saying that, I'm still really pleased with the new renderer: You said that you knew the notes, but you can't make the sounds. Well I think it's just a way of finding the keys (or buttons ) and knowing how to use them.
But I can understand how feel: I'm a guitarist and I also had some organ lessons. But it feels completely different! your hands are in the wrong way!
To keep this anology, I think firefly and superfly are more like a piano and an organ: they sounds different and have a different ways to play, but they both have a keyboard.

You mean that with a blinn node, even when you make a firefly render, you don't get the same results as in poser 10 or poserpro 2104? Now that would be stupid!
The gold looks great by the way
