bagginsbill thanks for these great tips. Question does the position of light 1 make any difference? Do i just accept were poser places it when i create a new light?. could you include the dial settings for these. Also what setting do you use for your render. Thanks again

OK-- Review I went to render an scene that each time in the past (on final settings) Died. Well It did again. BUT, BUT. Poser gave me a new dialogue box that made suggestions (i.e. change bucket size, turn of texture filter, ect.) Then AND THIS IS THE COOLEST PART. it returned me to poser let me change the settings and Render. NO MORE CTL-ALT-DELETE. just reset and go. THANK YOU POSER PROGRAMMING GODS!!1

Don't mis-understand . Have them take all the time they need to make sure the service pack is right. Just don't say SOON. When ya say SOON. IT should be SOON. See the definiation in post 1.. Say SP1 Coming, Say SP1 in Development, Say SP1 in Testing

PAGZone. Was a bit tonuge in cheek, a joke. ahhh get it.. See my first post - second msg in this thread. You'll see I run both - more on the PC side. Mac for Video production. Please look at your system. I run Vue 5 Infinate, Poser 6, CD4, and Carrara both individually and together, the only issue I have is with P6 and LARGE renders.
Ensure your video drivers and the absolute latest. Fixed several issues for me.
opps sorry just noticed your on a MAC. By chance do you have Quark loaded? I have a G4 at the office and once we loaded quark everything went to #$&(*@#.
Run all the above on a pc.. Just finished render in Vue that was full screen (1600x1200. took some time but during this I downloaded from the web, did email, remotely managed on of my servers in another state, remotly restarted a workstation in my state, researched installation of a Firewall and printed the 695 page manual in color.
Dell makes on heck of a product....

Spanki beautiful work - Question: by greyscale render do you mean you rendered a character in only gery's or converted a render to greyscale in say photoshop???
